Proverbs 31 Woman is Worth More Than Rubies with music

@livingthecall1 - I know it wasn't written by Solomon but rather his mother was telling him what kind of woman to look for in a wife. So the Proverbs 31 Woman was a description - I am well aware of that. This was not really written by Solomon. It was only transcribed by him. The ideas came from his mother. Check out my blog post for another perspective. The proverbs 31 woman isn't real but there are still some good things to learn from the passage if it isn't taken too literally. Although, some days I'd like it to be literal. Bring on the servants! haha!!

Always interesting how people view things. There are many the world over who aspire to the description of being a Proverbs 31 Woman. None of us can be perfect, and we know that, but if we can gain something from these passages and apply them to our family lives, then we, and our families, can only benefit for the better.

I think people should put this passage in perspective. It was written by Solomon who had 1,000 wives (which he wasn't suppose to do as the bible says a king should not have too many wives) Deutoronmy 17:17 so he is mentioning various good things in some of the women he had. In addition Ecclesiastes 7:28 Solomon says that he had not find 1 righteous woman in a 1,000 yet he found one in a man. A more balanced view of male-female relations are the stories in Genesis in my opinion.

Proverbs 32 is A parable summary of all the attributes of the Living Church of God.

What woman has ever met any if all these conditions of perfectness in proverbs 31.

Only one Woman((Living Church of Jesus)) can and will met all these conditions of perfectness.

That Woman is the Bride of Jesus((brigegroom)) spoken of in proverbs 31.

That's not true! You got to keep it real!

Don't overspiritualize this Proverb: "Her husband is respected at the city gates..."

That is clearly not about Jesus and his Bride! It is simply about a real woman.

Not every woman has the same blessings from good. But you have to use the blessings God has given you!

@libbyandtai : Thanks. Yes, lust is strong. I have 4 boys as well as 4 girls. Women are so eager to take it all off for magazine covers, internet sites, etc. I pray God protect the eyes of my boys. Satan wants to destroy the testimony and lives of Christian men. "We wrestle not against flesh and blood" says Scripture.
