I saw this video in the suggestions area and thought "oh jeese...", then when I clicked on it and realized it was one of the guys from Yeshua's Ryu (the Tres Tew katana guy videos) I thought "oh ma gawd, no...". After watching it, I was surprised it wasnt as bad as I thought. Just to add a disclaimer to what he said, 99% of "ninjutsu" schools arent true ninjutsu, just interpretations. That doesnt mean it wont work in a fight, but most likely it is not a true historical style of ninjutsu.

Dude ninjas dressed in disguise, I.e. They would take work as a peasant farmer and only take along small hidden weapons and disguised weapons. The Bo-shuriken ang "throwing star" were used to take out nails and make holes for planting seed... Then when the chance arrived, they would use their knife, not their shurikans bcuz those were not killing weapons, to kill whomever they must. Ur an idiot

Ninjas weren't meant for assassination only. Back in the feudal days of Japan when Samurais were owners of the land, they treated their peasants like dirt and didn't care for them much. So the peasants dressed in black so they won't be seen during night and went around stealing food, etc. And yes, some did assassinate owners of the land for the sake of their starving families.

This guy is a dipshit that has NO idea what he is talking about, Ninja did NOT wear all black as most *Hollywood pictures* depict. They would dress according to their mission, often in disguises, or depending on their surroundings, such as in forested areas, they would wear brown or green camouflage... :)

Right, just to start off ninja's werent actually killers they didnt just walking around assasinating people and they didnt wear black either so clearly mr micheal lewis didnt even look up the jistory himself so that tells you alot doesnt it.
Some ninja's did kill but they didn't "only" kill which is a common missconception
they in fact wore normal clothes most of the time to blend in etc.. and when they did go on rooftops etc they wore dark blue as it leaves less of a silhouette against the sky

No they're not...wtf dude. Yes, obviously you can't run on water, I don't know about anything mentioning having a time limit of scaling a building, and speaking of that, they obviously use items/equipment to use to scale the building. And yes it is possible to escape death with 10 guns pointed at you...anything's possible.

One thing about ninja's that is overlooked is the ability to sense things. The 5 senses and intuition must be sharp to the point where it is natural to be hidden. The skills may seem exciting, but the hardest part is being able to do it in silence, without being seen, and to successfully do what you were doing.

Jutsu is the correct translation, it means art, technique, skill.
Jitsu on the other hand means kindness.
And ninjas were called "shinobi" in the past, later on they got the name "nin"

well america WAS an adopted nation so it isn't to apparent, but the people who were here first were very skilled hunters. Which leads me to believe that yes, America does have a nameless martial arts style.

all martial arts are copies or refinements of another nation's art. And anyways guns were invented before america was even discovered so by that time, hand to hand combat was just about useless. No need for us to invent one.
