eh... I guess because of your age, you're totally oblivious to the fact that rock & roll is a derivative of old "black" music. That's the foundation of the "rock music" that you purport to love so much. Buddy Holly, Elvis, etc..
Music is just music. There is no "real" music. One thing for sure though, is that most people today don't want to hear heavy metal. To most folks, it's just a bunch of noise.. and if you're a producer, heavy metal doesn't pay very well when compared to R&B ;)

I finally got around to asking a pilot/LSO
I know from the Reagan. He is talking to the pilot landing. The Air Boss is listening, as is prifly but communications are with the pilot landing.
