Cynthia, Imiss you so mch! We wre the perfect coyple. We were the same with politics, and in religion. We did everything together and enjoyed ourselves. But the weekend, Friday, when we had a date, I was going to propose to you. I had a1 caret Diamond in 14 caret gold. I had it planned, and imagine my SHOCK when on Wed. ,morning's paper, your obituary was there. You choled tin death on apiece of steak. I was so h, lost, hurt, and 10 years later I still am. I dream of you nights.I cry for you..
@kaybye6 Yes, both passed away. Tommy, was "fataly" hit by that bucket when it fell and cracked his skull(WE know that's baloney, but for the movie's sake...) and Carrie died from the stab wound in her back when her mother stabbed her. She didn't die right away, but if you watch the movie closely, when Carrie drags her mom into the closet art the end, Carrie passes out from loss of blood. You can see it coming out of her mouth and from the stab, and it was all over the back of her nightgown.
@kaybye6 yUK yUK. i GUESS YOU DON'T HAVE A HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND OR EVEN A GIRLFRIEND, HAVE YOU? You aren't a romantic, and guys, at least, do like women who appreciates romance but that leaves you out. No love? THAT'S WHY you're laughing, to keep from crying.
@donpazer idk if she was in the movie. and the actress who played the gym teacher is Betty Buckly. Betty is a broadway star and FYI when they tried to turn Carrie into a stage musical Betty played Carrie's mom. there's vids of Betty performance in Carrie: the musical on you tube.
imagine that! ha-ha ha-ha fiction or fact!! dont get me wrong, their ur some peoplethat is really tru , too one another but !!!! it issssssss, what it isssss. i use to be-live that & iwas one~of thoes person. that jus being with one person but always ,a pc of s...! buts thats history!!bye-bye now.
upon hearing this song, one is struck by the beauty ...of the whole scene ,in the film, Carrie falling in love, overcoming the hell of her early life, "being accepted" Tommy Roe!...it is seriously ironic that this scene of beauty is but a harbinger of the horror later to come. brian de palma is the most awesome filmmaker ever!!
you done a wonderful Job and this is one of the sweetest songs of all time and got goose bumps when I first heard it all those years ago,,,Rick Norris Jasper Alabama

Thank you for posting: --- Love this song-- Back in my disco days of the late '70's.
Movie is great. One of the three movies that really made me jump off my seat--the other two: Alien (with S. Weaver) and Other (with Nicole Kidman.)
