I had the pleasure of sitting down for lunch and talking to Leroy at the Huck Finn Festival this year. He spoke to my 7 year old Grandson and took pictures with him as if he was his own. I will always remember and will be a fan forever.

He truly knows all of the techniques it takes to play Uncle Dave's style, I am a huge fan of his, and I love seeing him on the Marty Stuart show every week. My dad thinks he's retarded because he thinks all singers in country sing good, not old-time and clawhammer playing. He thinks if he/she can sing good they're worth a darn. One of the reason's he thinks he's retarded is his face where he sings "all the time-time-time". Whatever. I think he is truly professional and a great guy.
