This game looks like it's going to be more of a platformer than earlier Zeldas. The wii motion plus will actually make it really fun because you can actually swing the remote like a sword. Even with the beta graphics, the game looks really fun!

The charm of the zelda franchise was never in having the most badass graphics, what kind of a zelda fan are you? I actually really like the style it is currently because it brings memories back of a mix between Ocarina of Time and some of the instruction booklet art from 1 through 4. I miss that look and feel.

Just because they went back to cel-shaded doesnt mean they went a step backwards in graphics. Not everything has to be detailed like crazy, and quite frankly, a lot of the detailed more realistic games Ive seen on Wii tend to have the ugliest graphics I've ever seen, too.

After watching this footage, I sort of wonder if Nintendo opted for a less intense graphical style so they could devote more processing power to the game engine. I just hope it isnt all in shut off areas like it looks in this trailer. I want open lands to explore like games like "Oblivion" have and "Red Dead Redemption." Imagine riding on Epona through epic sweeping landscapes, with no fogging! seeing Castle Hyrule on the horizon. I want the open feel of "Ocarina of time again!!" To me thats just as important as fighting and using the whole new "Motion gamplay" thing.

Personally, I think the graphics are even better than Twilight Princess. True, Twilight Princess had more texture in it, but I think it had too much in it for the Wii/Gamecube to handle. It was one of the best looking games of it's time on the Gamecube, don't get me wrong, but I think this is A TON better for the style they're going for. And I was actually hoping they bring back the Windwaker feel somehow. ^_^

Halo is the main source of all the Xbox fanboys who only want uber-realistic graphics in a game, and since Twilight Princess looked realistic and everyone's moaning that they want Skyward Sword to be like that, I was joking that they were acting like the Halo n00bs. :P

And even so, only playing the latest games while avoiding older or just different ones is like only driving the newest copy-paste cars while ignoring the unique classic ones: just wrong. :(
