It is the lying and the cover up that will put Micheal in jail, if they had told the truth from the beginning it would have turned out alright for Micheal. Jason and Sonny went into protection over drive and this is the result, you have a troubled young man racked with guilt and unsure of himself because he is never able to make decision for himself.
