@WellSightedGentleman sounds like mere anticdotle evidence but thats a start at least. not exactly what i would call evidence as its not as if we can predict the weather. the effect on the climate could be caused by a change of temperature in the ocean by a couple of degrees (possibly caused by natural factors, possibly by pollution, possibly both) which would in turn result i massive changes far away due to chaos theory.
