My Morrigan outfit (if you know who she is) was extremely hot to wear in the sun and I'm not used to heels. Also please note that Aus is pretty much the last place everything gets released, not our fault blame major corperations.
As an ending note, Supanova is a place for -FANS-, not idiot youtube reveiwers. Stay out of our territory
Supanova is a "POP CULTURE EXPO" which includes tv, games, movies etc. You clearly have not read Everything Bad is Good for You as you would see that games are very "pop culture". This was our first time at Supanova and we had high expectations, there were some good things eg the cosplayers and some bad things eg battle of the bands. We know that Australia is the last placed everything gets released but its at these type of expos you give people a taste of your product to build hype.

I just saw a video with the Master Chief costume in it. That was an A+ effort on the costume my friend. To bad we did not see it on the day. Oh well maybe next time.

From people I have spoken to, they seem to come to the same consensus and agree with what we had to say. Supanova was OK but it was nothing fantastic. People that have been in past years have agreed with what we had to say about this year. There like that sounds about right for Supanova. As we both said they need to bring something fantastic to the table next year not just this battle of the bands rubbish.

I agree with you on the community, that is what is making us consider going again for next year. The Supanova community were a fantastic bunch. We aimed to make the Teryl Rothery talk but we did not count on the long line to get in. Lesson learnt - pre-buy tickets to Supanova.
That's cool man, but if you were down in Melbourne around the end of last year you could have gone to the 'eGames Expo'. That's probably the closest thing to PAX that Australia will get. It was unbelieveable. Less pop culture, much much more games!
I think perhaps that this Supanova was more orientated towards anime fans this year. I was cosplaying (I was in a pink bunny waitress outfit), and I had quite a lot of fun from my perspective.
ok. i went to supanova. there was a master cheif, and a zelda. i took photos of both. they were awesome. games, stuff them, the real fun is tackle glomping every good cosplayer you see. and sorry rownan but that was not a good cosplay. SUPANOVA ROX AND IS AWESOMNESS!!
Rownans would have been better if there were more Uncharted fans out there. Best PS3 exclusive on the market. Followed by Ratchet and Clank. Then Resistance. Heavenly Sword was crap.
We actually left before the Chess, but yeah we were annoyed we did not get to see him. Did it look good? Yeah the Mario Guy was great - he really nailed the character, to bad he did not have a Luigi or a Peach to go with him.

I actually liked supanova. then again I volunteered for three years running and I'm mostly there for the AWESOME community.
you should have stopped by Teryl Rothery's talking time. she was excellent.
that and they had the sound effect guy from the police academy movies. its neat to stand within a couple of meters of the father of beatboxing.
