What a shame they didn't show the best part, where he gets bit. In a different part of the same show this or another cobra (I think it's this one though) does just barely cut his finger. I think the fang just barely tore the skin but didn't inject any venom. He didn't know for sure and thought he got bit. He was freaking out a bit. He ended up going to the hospital for it and then leaving with his finger bandaged. He didn't need any anti-venom.

In America or Europe(which is where I'm assuming you live) almost all of the venomous snakes are vipers which ALWAYS have slit pupils. Cobras do not, and they are native to Asian, African, and Middle Eastern countries.

Steve Austin was always my second favorite naturalist behind Steve Irwin. Then Jeff Corwin. I don't care for Brady Barr at all. He's too cavalier and disrespectful of wildlife. The only problem I have with Steve is he gets so into the beauty of the animal he is working with, he sometimes forgets that they are deadly and demand more attention. Pretty much all shows like this stage the snakes and such, they put the snakes in a cooler with ice to make them sleepy and lethargic and then plant them for the hunter to "find"...there was one show i remember when Steve was working with a snake, a rattlesnake i think, and another one slithered up between his legs, he just froze and the panic on his face was almost palpable...thats the real thing
