I'm afraid I have a very good hypothesis on what the game will be.

It shall be a Test Subject Green enzyme going down a chasm Dangle style, then needing to grab an object at the bottom and work your way back up to win.

That's just my idea, and I hope it's much better than Dangle.

This looks too much like Dangle. I think the game is about a green blob who needs to go through a bunch of challenges. This could be one of the challenges.

@smaug131 That's what I think too. I think there will be a lot more to this game than what this video shows. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Nitrome releases more short videos before the game comes out previewing more little tricks that this character can do.
