Manually lip syncing in Face Poser is time consuming enough, but trying to move rag dolls around with the physicsgun while recording with Source recorder, and actually getting a few seconds worth that looks like some kind of legitimate animation is an even bigger pain.

@EffingTank You can somewhat modify and combine existing animations in SDK Face Poser, but as far as modeling, rigging and creating custom animations you would need either a 3D program that has scripts to work with the Source engine, or get the free Softimage tool (the software Valve used for modeling and animating in HL2) that is intended for creating modded stuff for Source games, if it is still available out there. The learning curve for it is pretty huge though, it seems.
