Actually yes it is. Some of the footage from the Funky Monks documentary was used in the Suck My Kiss video -- if you watch the video closely and compare it to the DVD you'll realize most of the footage in the Suck My Kiss video isn't even the band playing that particular song. progress and evolution are not always to be seen as particularly positive. i just prefer the old ones, but i have the whole discography. for this i can compare old and new, and i am able to have a preference. that's all. blood sugar sex magik is history, it got out in a particular moment and it inspired lots of groups later on. it's full of quotations and dedications..californication is nice, but nothing epic, not kicking ass, nothing new that much

Blood Sugar Sex Magik is the best RHCP album, with no doubt. But surely there's a lot of other bestest albums too, like Freaky Styley, Out in LA, Mother's Milk, you know all the old stuffs. SA is not the bestest.

I think you can't compar S.A and BSSM, 'cos they are just two completely different albums are great in their own ways. I do love the raw funk stuff that chilis used to do, but I still like Yertle the Tertle, Stone Cold Bush, Police Helicopter and all that stuff.
