  • keep it simple.......a bloody spikey bc rich type guitar with killer tone...it will be called...the spikeshreddeth...machine. May the gods shine their guitarmaking light upon you my friend!

  • yo chappersss! you should do up a string thgouh 7 string rhoads style v. i wouuuuuld buy. omg drool. shouyld have some blackouts, three way blade switch, no inlays except the monkey at thge 12th fret, one volume knob, see through black to see the grain :O :O :O and the graphic shouldnt be a graphic! t souild be a carving of THE MONKEY LORD!!!!!!!!!! you want win? how about more win? a flame thrower

  • Dear Chappers,

option 5 would be amazing, I was thinking of that shaoe guitar with maybe EMG or Duncan picups...scratch that...erm...a guitar that is fairly cheap but has a great quiality for it's price would be amazing. something among the line of £200-£300 and good quality would be amazing, i think its a better way of makin money rather then makin a bunch of £1500...i will never be able to afford that and neither will a lot of other people. ...realy? not enough characters??? man that sucks!!!

  • A telecaster or a V!!!!!!!

  • hey man, is there any chance, that your guitars will appear in germany?

  • telecaster shape with EMG's all back, a bit like the fender flat tops! \m/

  • if it was a V or a Explorer i would have ordered it right away

  • the intro song's start sounds like cliffs of dover!!

  • rob you remind me so much of blunty3000 on youtube

  • Man the tapping at the end just sounds awesome!! If it's you playing, can you tab it or make a lesson for it? It would be great man...

  • I think an SG would look fantastic, to come in alpine white, EMG Pickups, a unique shaped headstock with just one volume nob, and one tone nob along with a black pick guard as an optional package deal :D

please tell me what you think, i beleive it'll go down bloody well Rob :)

    ___

    Eliot

  • Please make one with a body the same shape and size as an AK47. It would be very popular with freedom fighters and terrorists alike, not to mention arms dealers,

  • I would love a lefty 6-string strat shape with two humbuckers.

  • i dno why but the tapping bit at the end reminded me of zelda ocarina of time xD

  • Definitalyy a Dirty dirty single cut, but not wierd looking like shecters make them.. just like natural looking with an awesome headstock and something thicckk and beefy sounding. Something that gives off a Sonic wall of sound. that would be so awesome.

  • @g3rman045 This will happen ;-)

  • @RobChappers that would be so sweet. don't be afraid to make it reasonably expnsive too so you can put the best spec possible:-)

  • how about a horizon shaped body with ibenez flat prestige, 5 piece maple walnut, and strat head, and scalped all 24 frets, one humb, and two single coils, and a ebony fret bord, and the wood of the body mahogany and maple top

  • 7 string!!

  • fuck man! Tab out that outro sounds like a straight NUNO! please!

  • i really hope the 7 string, for £350 to £450 wins the vote.

I dont think anything else is in what im looking for as much as i appreciate the value for money and win chapman guitars bring.

That asside im a fan of this guitar project your doing, you price fairly and put the money where it should be in the bare bones of the guitar.

  • 7 string les paul, no pickguard, seymour duncan alinco 2 pro humbuckers (for neck and bridge)

  • Chappers, my vote is for something with a carved top, single-cut or double cut, either a les paul style or a prs style body. I love the idea of the oil rub finish you did on the ghost fret.

    Keep rocking!

  • collaberatively designed win machines! :D lol

  • Something like a fender special Edition Custom Spalted Maple Tele but in a metal version!!

  • Motherfucking mahogany HH telecaster with TOM and Gibson tailpiece. How does that sound?

  • hey rob! what about a cool star shaped guitar?

  • Gawd I would love a V shape body made of Alder and neck, with an Ebony Fretboard. as for pick ups, some Dimarzio Tone Zone/Air Norton Combo with a white finish. Its always been my GAS.

  • Les Paul Shape!!!!

  • you know whatd be sick a flame maple single cut

  • i have a vision, a tele with a hardtail bridge with three single coils, mahogany body with a birdseye maple neck but ebony fretboard in the same colour as the ML1, PLEASE?

  • Do one based on a BC Rich Mockingbird

  • I remember you mentioned a long time ago that you were thinking of a shreddable sing cut. I've been eagerly waiting ever since.

  • Hey CHAPPERS! How about doing a Chapman Bass?

I'm not a bassist myself, just thought that could open your market out a bit

  • LES PAUL!!!

  • Just voted and ouch, the v is being slaughtered. And what really disturbs me is the single cut is winning. I hate single cuts and aren't there enough of those already? Any chance for a 7 string super single cut in a Parker style shape? That would at least make a single cut bearable.

  • I would say try to make a guitar that fills the £500-£1000 price range, as you have the ML1 which is less than £500 and the ghost fret which is more than £1000 :)

  • i say a electric ukelele with a floyd rose , active pick ups and a kick ass picture on it!

  • @andrenogueira775 that is a extremely great idea

  • is it possible to have a les paul 7 string if the single cut model is chosen?

  • fresh pot ?

  • Question Rob!!!

Will the ML2 will carry the same amount or even MORE amount of WIN than the ML1 and the Ghost Fret??? ;)

    -Mansight

  • @MansightJoker It will be an equal amount of win which precisely 0.777731% win. Any more is dangerous \m/

  • @RobChappers Dude, have you thought about trying to open a branch of andertons music in Trowbridge, seeing as there is NOWHERE in Trow' for us muso's

    \m/

  • @minimcnoon You from Trow-bag as well mate?? Did I meet you outside the Santander a few months back?

Stag closed - Trowb died a little...

  • @RobChappers

    Yup, born and bred... :|

Don't think i've met you... were you at Tinks funeral?

    So very true - Andertons/Chappers revival? :D

  • 7 string super strat ,£450, and hell yeah deposit. =)

  • you could make a white ml-1!!!!!!!

    that would fuking ruleeeeeeeee

black original pickguard and a white body would be very cool

  • if you made a mahogany body floyd rose equipped and affordable v i think it would produce unholy amounts of win

  • maybe a tele with deep contours and similar pickup config to the ML1? Also a nice natural / oiled finish so if anybody wants to get the spray can out...its a lot easier! Plus it looks v cool i reckon ;)

  • Rob...is there any shops in the London area that stock the Ml1?...cheers bud!!

  • What happened to Infinity Guitars?

  • I'd prefer a seven string superstrat with maple fretboard Floyd rose and emg pickups because I like them more than blackouts or a nice v not a pointy death machine more like a gibson v maybe a prs type guitar sexy sauce and sound awesome

  • Gimme Petrucciwoods :D

  • black les paul, with gold hardware ;)

  • 7 string with string-through bridge!!!

  • Come on guys, Les pauls are boring! Lets see a 7-string or flying V. I am willing to dosh out some cash for something new and fresh, not these singlecuts that all look the same

  • @Satch2424 Never agreed with someone more :P

  • What happened to Infinity Guitars that you were going to collaborate with that one luthier? I thought Ghost Fret was going to be made under that new company..

  • i wanted an X shaped guitar like the BC rich Stealth, like CHuck shuldiner used but more anguler. Btw you should try to make some unique desings too, like a contest or something.

  • i say it shall be a single cut away like a les paul. super thin transparent finish no coloring. itll look rugged and badass my friend. trust me on this one ;)

  • Comment removed

  • nice! I'm still saving up for the Ghost Fret... A Les Paul style please!

  • I voted the most amount of money cause we want quality

  • @ThomasSukhoi Also I voted 7 string and if the 7 goes through please don't use active EMG sized pickups 7 stringers hate those.

  • rob whatever you do make sure it has 24 frets and i will buy it!

  • My vote is for a Gibsonesque V, w/ Ebony fretboard, Seymore Duncan Blackouts, Floyd rose trem, and Schecter like headstock

  • Classic Gibson Flying V body, ebony fretboard with 24 frets and a headstock shaped like the one on a jackson slsmg, I would love you for the rest of my life.

  • les paul would be nice since its something that is really versatile and that you haven't done yet, what would be really cool though imo would be a 25.5" scale les paul

  • Doulble cut les paul pl0x

  • Superstrat, HSS, mahogany, ebony board, no 'infinity' inlay, natural finish... hang on, an ML-1 without the stained body or neck inlay!! up to £300 english.

Or, single cut mahogany contoured and chambered body, no top, natural finish (oil/wax). Gibbo scale length, maple set neck, ebony board, super jumbo frets, no inlays, black hardware, dimarzio PAF PRO pups, piezo system. ?? :o)

  • A les Paul chappers guitar, would spark my intrest.please don't do a tele for the love of god.PLEASE

  • dude, tele with a angled six headstock (like pointy and 6 tuners on top) would be sick

thin nitro cote of vintage yellow on flamed maple. that speaketh of win to me.

black or silver furniture with some non-covered cream pickups with black sprezels.

    win. do you approve?

  • 6 - 7 string Super strat.

Same headstock as the ghost fret (thats a really nice headstock)

    Trem or no trem

    Ebony neck

Price range £400 - £600 would be nice!

  • 26% of people that voted want a les paul style guitar. and im one of those people who agree :)

  • $1000-2000 range

  • telecaster body, white with mirror pick guard, 24 fret maple neck, reverse headstock(painted)one volume Knob, also used as tone, super massive jumbo frets, locking tuners....

  • Is there some way to track which of these votes are actually willing and financially able to buy a new guitar at that point in time? There's no use in letting nine thousand people vote for a 7-string superstrat if only 3 of them are actually going to be able to buy it!

  • @flvinny521 If only there was mate - I just have to trust that if people vote, they will buy a guitar if there choice wins ;-)

  • @RobChappers Well, rig the voting to get that Telecaster on top and you have one confirmed sale.

  • @RobChappers

I think you need to be careful Rob. Polls do not necessarily turn in to action. Ask people if they want something & they'll tell you what they want. Tell them you have it & they can buy it, they'll baulk. I'm sure your experience with the ML1 will be a guide. Everyone fedback on it, but out of all the votes how many actually bought? 10% of the voters? You need to weigh up between what people are telling you they want, and what is actually selling int he marketplace.

  • @JK30 Yes I know mate, actually we have sold hundreds of ML1's... However there is something you don't know, because it's not been announced yet, which will dramatically affect the sales/advertising and marketing of Chapman Guitars ;-)

  • @RobChappers Cool Rob, I wasn't try to preach buddy, it's your company and your doing things really well clearly, I just wanted to get a point across. Looks like I should buy an ML1 now, sounds like it might become a collectors item. Look forward to seeing what happens with the ML-2 too.

  • single cut

  • A 6 string flying V with string thru body type of bridge , 24 jumbo frets , and 2 humbuckers attached to the mahogany body no pickup rings , volume and tone , 5 way blade switch , maple set neck , ebony fret board, a nice nut.

  • @alexfheind sry forgot price , up to 900$ dollars

  • flying v !!!!!!!!!!

  • voted

  • random star would be awesome!!

  • I'm going with the £350-450 price range, singlecut design and yes for the deposit. Have you thought of offering a PRS custom-esque body shape? Do you think you'll be able to make a pretty contoured body like the Gibbos / PRSs? Would be awesome! Your guitar company is going to ROCKET! I can feel it! A mid-priced, super awesome guitar is exactly the way to go, I reckon! But then, that's just the humble opinion of one player. :-) Good luck, Rob! Sounds exciting! :-)

  • And some kind of PRS shape? It's a nice shape.

  • Single cut is winning the poll! YES!

  • HOLY CRAP ML-2!!! AAhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

My head just exploded and I just crapped my pants.

  • Great stuff matey!

Also the ''Collaboratively designed win machines'' is a great motto!

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out, my vote is for a single cut. :)

  • Ew, no single cuts, please... I can't stand the look of single cuts. A classic superstrat would be awesome, and I would pay about $600~ for one from you. :D

  • Flying V with a floyd rose. :)

  • Tele or Vee :D

  • rOB I assume thats you playing on the opening and throughout the video, what amp and effects are you using. Has a sweet EVH vibe to it.Oh yeah....can I STROKE YOUR MANE?

  • @lanni5150 yeah mate - It's a JVM 205 OD1 set to Orange with an ML1 ;-)

  • ML1 Strat style / ML2 Tele style. IT WOULD BE THE PERFECT COMBO.

  • A single cut chapman would be a-w-e-s-o-m-e. I'm a classy guy, already have the telecaster. But seriously, 2 humbuckers is all that I need!

  • single cut with a floyd

  • any chance of this one having a floys rose chappers?

  • @MYCHEMICALHAMSTERS If you vote for it - I make it dude, it's as simple as that ;-)

  • single cut, LP style(as close as you can get to it without copyright infringement). Carved top, mahogany body, all for $500-$650. Set neck would be nice btw.

  • Hey rob, can I get a copy of that Monkey Lord logo?

  • @TheSugarFreedom Sorry mate - no, a few companies are making products with my logo on so I can't give it out.

  • @RobChappers I found it anyways... : )

  • Les paul!

  • Tele

  • Maple fretboard please :D Its obvious most people will select the lowest price in the poll :P

  • @JohnAngusFTW have you seen the Poll?

  • i doubt you would be dwelling into the 8 string area?

  • Hey Rob, I would loooove to see a great Chapman Telecaster. It would be kickass

  • Rob Chappers, the next Orville Gibson ;-)

  • 7string superstrat ;D

  • I am totally 100% following this ML2 and voting on every damn thing.

  • LesPaul for sure.

  • Les Paul model! But with EMG's 81 and 85!

  • It looks like it's gonna be a single cut but I see the 7 string is strong. If you ever do a 7 though, DO NOT PUT EMGS IN IT! EMG 7 string routes are horrible if you want to put in a normal passive sized pickup. You either wined up with a pickup deep in a whole or have to find a specialty pickup ring and some of those look rather awkward.

  • a king V shaped guitar would kick major ASSaah

  • I would love a Telecaster from your brand! My favorite guitar type from The Monkey Lord? Shit, just the thought makes me blow a load in my pants.

  • @scutcheatscutch ha ha - Tele is my preference as well, although I am very partial to Single cuts and V's ;-)

  • @scutcheatscutch ha ha - Tele is my preference as well, although I am very partial to Single cuts and V's ;-)

  • @RobChappers Should just make a tele then? But what about the 72 Deluxe style, dual humbucker set up? Although, i am partial to a Jag or two :P

  • i also think, that this should be another shape other than a Strat or Explorer as there already is one.

  • I'm so happy your company is working out well for you!

  • @Ibik Thanks mate! I am just a very lucky guy ;-)

  • Nice use of the Warmoth guitar shape graphics :)

  • voted, I was thinking Singlecut

  • an esp ltd shape wth some emg 81 85 with an original floyd rose and a mahogany body neck and neck through . for about 800 bucks. with a nice light blue finish

  • C'mon every one vote Telecaster!

  • Under £500, 24 Frets, Two Humbuckers, V/ Rhoads shape, 25.5 scale. They would be my preferences :)

  • Go with like a les paul shape, but with EMG pickups: 81 and 85, flamed maple with like see through kinda colours so it tints the wood = absolute gorgeous

  • Please please please make a single cut Les Paul style like the ML1 with cheapo pickups but nice mahogany etc so I can actualy buy it please!

    Nah seriously please!!!

  • My thoughts are a symmetrical 24 fret V, similar to the king v shape

Mahogany body and maple neck (thin neck profile but not ibanez wizard thin),

    25" scale

    jumbo frets,

    maple or ebony fretboard,

neck construction doesnt bother me much as long as it doesnt have a massive neck heel.

2 passive humbuckers (cheap are good as i would swap them out anyway) good pots and switches would be nice and its gotta be HARDTAIL for me.

and a natural finish would be nice, but failing that anything but black.

  • Telecaster with standard vintage tremolo and a maple fretboard!!!

  • Alder body (body shape...something offset Tele?), Maple neck, Ebony fretboard, set bridge; 3 PUs: Neck: Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders, Middle: regular Single Coil, Bridge: Splittable Humbucker. :D

  • 7string!!!

  • sorry about all the posts rob

  • Why is super-tele not up there chaps? Not seen many super-teles.. I think we really need a tele with the awesome bulk and chunk of a Les Paul.. Oh and seeing as it's open.. Semi-hollow... Yeah.. A semi-hollow thick heavy supertele.. I'm serious, i'd buy it.

  • singlecut, with an offset waist, 3 humbuckers, offset 3+3 headstock, woods dont really matter, individual on and off switches for each bucker, as airline as possible, lol

  • A H/H telecaster, mahogany body, thin maple neck, ebony fret board hard tail bridge. basic colours. J-AWESOME
