@shollin84 chltmdwp isn't exactly right, it depends on the carrier. With sprint and verizon, they know exactly what phone you are using at all times and will require you to have a data plan. With ATT and T-mobile however you could tell them you were using some sort of phone that wouldn't require a data plan and then put the sim card in the touch pro 2, you could just use the wifi, however I would never recommend a smart phone without a data plan as you take away most of the features.

It depends on your application. If you like tha ability to add random applications and multimedia then the iphone is the phone for you. If you are like me and use many windows applications and text a lot then you will love this phone. I personally like a physical keyboard better than the on screen key board. What I did was got an itouch for my multi media and then got this phone for my phone. Now that I have this I don't even the itouch any more unless I'm in the car. Very nice phone.

i just got the htc touch pro 2 from US Cellular. One feature that i've seen on reviews that i really like is the push feature with the web browser.

In this review, i saw those empty slots for websites to be added. When i'm on the interent tab on touch flow I see the big launch browser button along with the smaller Youtube button.

There is nothing else on the screen that i can find to do this feature. Any ideas?

Get the phone and then get SPB Home 3.5. It is what the OS should have been. I was bummed with 6.1 until I got SPB. Now the phone is sweet.

You probably had WinMobile 6.1,which had a ton of issues. The new HTC Touch Pro2 phones are now coming with WinMobile 6.5 which is a huge improvement.

They will not be dropping WinMobile. In fact, they are pushing for it especially with WinMobile 7 coming out.

they havent spoke about that in reviews because its not a front camera its a sensor thingy that lights up or dims that background if youre on a call so that you dont press any keys...

$30 X 2 Year contract (24 mths) = $720 plus the $200 for the phone IF you are eligable for upgrade. It becomes half or full price if you are not eligable.

Unlocked $500 (but the cheapest is $630 from what I seen on Amazon), but with no $30/month.

Up to you if saving $290 in the long run is worth it. (All assuming you are eligable for full upgrade AND renew for 2 yrs so it could be worth the unlocked if you can't get the full upgrade.)
