@missandwea you should rest them sounds like you have shin splints and they can be very painful, plenty of rest of low impact training go swimming or use a bike instead.

@aduh1987 I used to eat fruit before too, but my crossfit trainer mentioned it was prob. too much sugar. I workout at 6am, so around 5:40am I eat 2-3 slices of deli meat, usually turkey, and a few almonds or walnut halves. So far eating protein does the trick!
ooh and i'm not sure if this is maybe more of a physio thing but maybe a video on things you can do in the office because my body get's so cranky during the day
i love working out my legs but my knees are absolutely pathetic; they're so weak and sometimes squats and lunges will literally make me cringe in pain and when i do the seated leg press at my gym, i sometimes can hear my knees pop and that freaks me out. i've had an x-ray done and basically they told me i have weak knees blahblah etc.....what are some exercises that you can recommend for a total lower body workout for someone with weak knees?
I can do an hour on an exercise bike fine, i can do an hour on a rowing machine fine BUT i cannot last 5 minutes on a running machine (or any standing up workout) without collapsing on the floor like a beached whale. Why haven't i got any stamina when it comes to standing up workouts?

philandgez No worries but briefly a (Rep) Is 1 repetition, so 1 full movement of the exercise.
If you are doing 12-15 reps when you get to 12-15 that is a set, so you may do 3 sets of 12-15 reps on each exercise e.g. a squat. I hope this helps you.

wow didn't know intense walking will burn fat the statistics on the heart rate from it are amazing. How long for do I have to do that every day? I have noticed that my legs are more 'fit' actually. I do it everyday.
