  • Have you guys seen Jillian Michael's 30 day shred videos? Would you reccomend using that along side going for runs in the morning? Also, I don't own a treadmill and on a student budget I don't want to join a gym, is running around the park ok instead?

  • @missandwea you should rest them sounds like you have shin splints and they can be very painful, plenty of rest of low impact training go swimming or use a bike instead.

    I find any sort of running to be really painful on my shins, I wear proper runners but if I run or walk intensively for a certain amount of time I get a lot of pain in my shins and I can't do anymore :/ any advice?

  • Hi guys, could you do a sample gym workout for women starting off with weights? I like working with weights but worry that I'm doing the same exercises over and over again..I don't want to work my legs or arms too much and do too little somewhere else (ie core)..I'm also really intimidated going into the main weights area so exercises with dumbbells would be great!   • I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS SO PLEASEE RESPOND..i've read in several health articles that it's best to work out in the morning on an empty stomach that way you burn fat..but everytime I try doing that I feel so dizzy right after the work out..or even if I have just a banana before the work out..it still doesn't help..could you please give me advice on the best options of what I should be eating before my work out..to get the BEST results to burn fat.. I have ALOT of weight to lose

  • @aduh1987 I used to eat fruit before too, but my crossfit trainer mentioned it was prob. too much sugar. I workout at 6am, so around 5:40am I eat 2-3 slices of deli meat, usually turkey, and a few almonds or walnut halves. So far eating protein does the trick!

  • i love working out my legs but my knees are absolutely pathetic; they're so weak and sometimes squats and lunges will literally make me cringe in pain and when i do the seated leg press at my gym, i sometimes can hear my knees pop and that freaks me out. i've had an x-ray done and basically they told me i have weak knees blahblah etc.....what are some exercises that you can recommend for a total lower body workout for someone with weak knees?

  • I can do an hour on an exercise bike fine, i can do an hour on a rowing machine fine BUT i cannot last 5 minutes on a running machine (or any standing up workout) without collapsing on the floor like a beached whale. Why haven't i got any stamina when it comes to standing up workouts?

    Btw, you guys seem so much more at ease and comfortable with the camera in this video. Youtube legends in the making!

  • philandgez No worries but briefly a (Rep) Is 1 repetition, so 1 full movement of the exercise.

    If you are doing 12-15 reps when you get to 12-15 that is a set, so you may do 3 sets of 12-15 reps on each exercise e.g. a squat. I hope this helps you.
