@patkwok Speakers were originally Vandersteen 2Ce Signatures. But the video shows older Paradigm Mini Monitors. The version of Carmen was obtained via YouTube available audio for videos. I have no idea who performs or directs it.
great setup. i own an 8b myself. unfortunately, the original owner kept the model 7 preamp, though i do have it paired with a mac mx-110. they sound great together.
what kind of tubes are the big ones on the 8B. svetlana? i'm looking to upgrade.

Tubes are Svetlana (original SED) from 1997. Great sound. I recommend them.
