A block saddle prevents you from streching your strings to a higher note.It helps keep your guitar in tune if you are palm muting with your hand on the bridge.Not really needed for locking systems.Keep Jammin'

Great lesson. I appreciate all those lessons on tapping but usually, I work on them for a while and then give up because even when you know how to do it, it's more changing from tapping to pick playing that becomes a problem. Any ideas for that? Examples maybe?

@800pieds Hey 800pieds, if you're having a problem with switching between pick playing and tapping, it could be because you're using the index finger of your right hand (as is done in the video) instead of your middle finger. Using your middle finger allows you to tap without having to change to your grip on the pick to tap. :)

@maaesmussen I actually use my middle finger, it's just that I lack ideas that sound good to revert to picking.

Ive been trying to do that at the end for ages, the think u associate with flameco. I've started practicing with a thin pick cause i seem to have more control over it. plus i dont get holding at that angle at all. What would u call all that? 16ths? flamenco...where can i get more examples of that? or songs to learn with it...a van halen song maybe?
