  • Awsome video! Where did you get the sound effects from? Thanks!

  • I own several sound fx libraries. I also do sound design so it was a mixture of both.

  • Do a search on YouTube for "Netflix Arrival BTS" or "Netflix Arrival Behind the Scenes" and you should be able to find our behind the scenes video on the making of this Netflix Commercial. Glad you enjoyed it!

  • No plug-ins. It's just compositing footage of explosions into the scene and some rotoscoping to get the depth right. Thanks so much for checking it out! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Always great to entertain people!

If you have any questions, let me know!

  • Thanks man! I appreciate the support!

  • what effects program did you use?

  • I used After Effects.

  • that was great... what camera did you use?

  • We used the Panasonic DVX100a. I was experimenting with some settings which ended up not being too optimal so we got some excess grain.

  • Good fx. Little tip, in this country commercials are usually :15, :30 or :60 long.

  • This is the "Director's Cut." =)

  • Very nicely done!
