Yes, you have to have finished mode to get the Tree of Wisdom.

no point of cheats the fun in the tree of wisdom is working to get it tall

i have a question! dont some effects, like mustache, or others only work when you get the tree of wisdom to a certain height? like 100 feet?

Future, mustache and trickedout don't require the tree to be a certain height. Others, like daisies, require the tree to be 100 feet tall.

@ RicardoBatisaPassos, yes there are codes that require 500 and 1,000 feet, but as I said before, not all codes need a tall tree. (I think dance is 500 and pinata is 1,000)
