  • 100 Gypsy Violins, live in Zagreb - or live in any other place of this world - you're Great!!!

  • CIOCARLIA nu este compusa nici de ENESCU nici de DINICIU este doar preluata de ei din folclorul ROMAN autorul este anonim :D

  • @cucuomez79 bravo!

  • This is a music video, and all you can do is argue? Pathetic. What a waste of human life!

  • Traditional romanian song, argue as much as you would like, makes no difference to me.

Even the name "ciocârlia" is romanian...

  • this is a pour copy of LAUTARII from Moldova! wtf!!!

  • @100violins It was composed by George Enescu! nd not everthing what's on Wikipedia is true! I'm from Romania and a lots of thinks that is wrote on wikipedia about Romania is wrong! Especially about Vlad Tepes!....

  • Romanian song! 100% so shut up stupid gypos!

  • @100violins lol stop taking wikipedia as a real source of information, i dont think you even know what wikipedia is ...everybody can modify and write content there

  • @100violins Do you trust all the info on wikipedia?

  • Is not a gypsy song is a traditional Romanian song. Romanians are not gypsies! Just because the USA has a lot of black people doesn't make it African, East Europe is full of gypsies in every country, they are nomads they adapt very easy and their language is not Romanian, they have a gypsy language, they learn Romanian as well as Spanish or Italian or any other country they go to and have children. Same thing with the music.

  • you guys wish have songs like our romanian songs -.-

we rulz you will never know how to play like romanians and gypsis this song

    so fof -,-

you must learn something from then

  • @compaqcjc I think Romanians will have problems with you seeing them as equal to gyppos.

  • cikáni byli vždycky dobří muzikanti

  • @100violins wikipedia can be written by anybody.... i am 100 % romanian , i know what i'm talking about.... it's our culture...don't send me to wikipedia OK???!!! and it's not called ciocarlia "the lark " it's called CIOCARLIA !!!! don't make me say the 2 things about gypsies that are reprezentative....

  • this is George Enescu s composition.if you wold only look on wikipedia.an let s not call one eachother stupid or ignorante.not everybody knows.

  • bravo ciocarlia¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • 100% romaneste

  • Prince Nicolae Bibesco patronized Romania's Le Cabaret Roumain at the 1889 Paris Universal Exhibition.A young gipsy lautar(player) composed a panpipe piece called The Lark ( documented in the papers). His name is Anghelus Dinicu. His grandson wrote the violin version and promoted/played it brilliantlly later. This is not popular music, but lautareasca ( played by lautar for the high society mainly). It is inspired by Romanian folklore, but IT IS NOT folklore.

Let's give credit to the worthy.

  • It was not composed by Grogoras Dinicu, it was not composed by Ciprian Porumbescu either. Enescu and Grigoras Dinicu were inspired by romania folklor. There are many versions of this song (Gheorhe Zamfir and Phoenix I like the best), but Grigoras Dinicu is the one who made it popular.

  • @lucaiuriciuc

Ciocârlia, was composed by his uncle Angheluş Dinicu.

Also remind that this song is also called : The Lark, that was named as a composition of Grigoras Dinicu.

So no, it is not a traditional song !

  • @100violins this it's not true !!!! ciocarlia is a traditional romanian song which has been played by george enescu and dinicu aswell....

  • @lucaiuriciuc crazy woman are U .ciocirlias was composed by Dinicu

  • The best of the world

  • Oh I love the Balkan music.(also the Balkan folk dance & music) and they play from memory ...even better..the best. THANK YOU for posting...I play violin but not like that..maybe if I had a Hungarian or Romanian teacher...I should have lived in Europe...(though my roots are from Calcutta, India.)

  • I guess we are missing the point: music is universal, nationalism fight over which is better, hungarian or romanian folclore makes no sense. Each has its own charm. We should be glad we have diversity in beauty rather than question each others values. Don't you think?

  • More then beautiful!

I wish Original Ciocarlia By 100 Gypsy Violins!

Can someone put it here, please?

    TY

  • the name of the song is " CIOCARLIA " by George Enescu is 100% Romanian

  • asa si?

  • @100violins Dinicu did not compose it....he just arranged it and edited it....i had been always a traditional and folk melody!

  • @CuciucGriga stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @100violins the fuck your sayng there? Is a peace of classical music composed by george enescu

  • @100violins change the name of the video if you don't want to be seen as the "100 Gypsy Liars" (excuse my pleonasm)

  • @100violins but is romanian song ;)

  • @dluxer2000 you are right

  • @dluxer2000 yes and if i'm not wrong 100 gypsy violins are from hungary

  • its romanian folclor and its the most beutiful folclore on the world.

  • it would have been nice to hear the music over the applause.

  • @intoXtheXsunrise you are so right the audience is somewhat stupid.....

with classical ( meaning music for violin, cello, etc... ) there is to be no applause until the piece is played completly

  • @Freakschwimmer For pity's sake, this is not classical music! The instrument never determines the genre. This is popular, folk music, played in a wild way, and of course the audience is overwhelmed with the atmosphere and expresses this.

  • @Astron278 you are so right...!

  • No one can play like gipsy, from Ungaria, Romania or from anywhere. Greetings from romania.

  • Wow! Thanks a lot for posting this!!!

  • Romanian music all the way!

  • Tisztelt 100tagu nemkéne szolni CSOCSI JOZSEF föprimásnak.hogy neméterembe hegedül hanem szimpadon.Van hátamögött 50 hegedü és ellehetitetleni öket.Lehetetlen vele együtt muzsikálni.

  • No one has scores, it's the quality of the orchestra ! they feel the music and play by looking to the maestro

  • scores! someone has?

  • This is 'Ciocarlia', the Romanian Sky-Lark.

It's fitting that 100 violins should play it!

  • i was on that concert... excellent performance. can`t wait to see them again :)

  • That intro is the single best thing I have ever heard on the violin.

  • this is rumanian music !!! it's called "ciocarlia"

  • What pegas said.

    Still fun though.

  • Unfortunatley Grigoras Dinicu didn't compose this song; fortunatley he saved it from the acient body of anonymous Romanian folkloric music and brought it back to life. To that he should be given much credit, but not for composing it!
