What you could've done was saw the side-bindings of some old books that you find all over the place (make sure they're are old leather or cloth material) like the ones you made out of paper, suture the sides of the bindings together, and it will look much more like a real bookcase.

Heh...not exactly a cab,but it's cool. I think I have the same joystick, $30 off ebay. Problem I have with it is it's hard to keep in place while playing.

true, but this cost me only $100 total... yeah I did get the joystick on ebay from china, its does a good job, but its not as great as the more expensive X-Arcade controls i have on the Arcade Coffee Table...

The suction cups stick pretty well to the bookshelf, but after a while they start to slide and need to be repressed, but still i cant complain for the price...

beside the fact that it looks fake you may not be able to put it back fast enough for your parents to not see if they just come in. also they would probably check and ask ( if they thought it was real) where did you get all the books. in addition the arrcade makes sound. lastly they would want to know where all the money went that you used

if you had alot of space you could put an extra "deep" bookshelf up, put the games in the back, put up that paper screen, then shelve a bunch of light books in front of that. so if mom wants to look at a book, then she doesn't have to disturb Mario to do so :)

The controller i got on ebay for about $25 shipped from china...

the games i downloaded, and i was able to make the computer run portrait style using a program, i forget the name of it... if you want to know ill look it up

That is simply...AWESOME! I love those games where you have to stand up to play without dancing and shooting. I love that invention. Just 1 question, before teh end, I saw the Donkey Game from the early 1980s on teh screen, then at the end, we hear PAC MAN! How does that work?

I chose Donkey Kong because its my favorite Classic Arcade game, but when it came time to film the last part, Donkey Kong doest really have such great sound, so i switched to Pac-Man so there would the famous "wakka-wakka-wakka"
