Hi quick to anyone who can answer. As far as I understand (may be very wrong) VPN makes it appear as if you are connected directly to your LAN. now if I were to use my iPad to connect to a VPN server at home using 3G data- will I still pay for 3G data ? Or is it as I understand allow me to use my home adsl internet connection, thus making my life amazing :)- sorry if this is a ridiculous question :D
Way to rock this demo Kevin. For your next Pulse demo on Android, you need to store vDesk on phone, plug it into a PC, run the fastest virtual desktop available in the world, run Pulse inside vDesk to connect to the corporate network, and have a fully capable, encrypted, lock down, portable virtual desktop powered by Juniper and RingCube. Let's make it happen!
I keep reading throughout the net that the App is coming soon since May. This is BS it is September already and the App is nowhere to be found. What is the deal????? When are they going to release the App to the public???
@abvmoose87 iPhone does not really support file copy/sharing but there are apps which deal with file sharing, namely MoShare or other Sharepoint-based apps. Otherwise, the iPhone can also use Safari to get to the SSL VPN's web-based file interface to download/upload/manage files such as on NFS or SMB shares behind the SSL VPN gateway.
When is this client being released on the Apple App Store? I've been reading articles about it since the beginning of June saying it's available on the App Store, but it isn't there - at the moment it's vaporware for anybody with a Juniper VPN gateway & an iPhone.
