  • trolollol? i can do that too, easy shit xD

  • Great stuff - keep it up and you will go far in the world of music.

  • Lady gaga is quite talented, though.

  • Very good Romanian classical guitar player. My respect goes to this kid. He deserves to be called an artist. This type of kids are the true value in real music, not Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. And for those telling me about different styles, let me tell you there is good music and commercial shit. Contrary to masses, I prefer the first category which I believe it needs more promotion. Cheers for all good ears.

  • Caso raro!!!!Bravo!!!!

  • I like it, I think you have your things down better than most of the string players as well.

  • precioso concierto e interpretación :)

  • This is what happens when you don't let your kid sit around all blasted day and play video games.

  • y do u hold your guitar liek a chelo lol ?

  • I like Sungha Jung better!

  • The 'scary' thing is, this kid is only going to get better. Amazing talent!

  • zajebisty

  • Amazing! I would never have imagined that any kind of human or machine could play that on a guitar!

And I don't think it's Mircea Gogoncea vs Sungha Jung, but Mircea Gogoncea and Sungha Jung - signs that talent ist stil alive in the new generation, and not just been replaced by the hair- and clothes- style of Justin Bieber...

  • Mircea Gogoncea VS Sungha jung

    Who is winner ?

  • @quocanhchel They both are

  • Me, I began playing guitar à 13...

  • im guessing this would be awesome. IF IT WOULD LOAD

  • bravissimo!

  • Awesome!

  • wait till he is 21

  • Hey!! That's ME!!! When I was thirteen!! I am now 66, and for all you wingnuts who say "sad" and he's not good, and he's not happy...I say....BRUUUUHHHHAAAAAAAA!!!!

  • @mpm111144 Awesome camerawork they had 53 years ago :D

fully agree with your point though! :)

  • wasn't this kid in the movie "school of rock?"

  • And putting someone down, is actually you trying to make up for something you don't like about yourself...

    Have a nice day :o)

  • and there always have to be someone coughing -.-"

  • its sad to say but this kid is not happy in life

  • @poupoule22

    Why ?!?!?!

  • @poupoule22

You must know him, and have personal conversations with him.... otherwise there would be no way to tell -- just because he's doing something that you think would be boring? or because he isn't all smiley and hyper?

You my friend, are a freak

  • there's no variation in his playing.... he is just an average guitarist.

  • @MrBose820 Are you joking ???

  • Great playing for a 13 year old!

The sound equipment he is using is a shame though. It sounds like my computer speakers. Everything else is good!

  • i truly hope he doesn't hurt his hand so he can't play guitar

  • totally zoned out until someone coughed like a spaniel six minutes in....

    haha very good

  • super ,you are the star

  • some one start the megadeath vs. metallica war in the comment box!!!

this video is toooooo positive!!!!!!!! ITS CRAZY!!!

  • A marvelously poised and euphonious performance from someone so young! And just to add to the discussion about electric vs. classical, I'll bet this young man also has an electric guitar that he can shred with the best of them.

  • fantastico!!!!!!!

  • bravo!!!!!

  • i could play that living

    or as a zombie

  • wow....

  • Amazing!!!

  • wait, r u guys criticizing me, im confused?

  • how pathetic that ppl always say they're better...how bs...this kid is amazing, be humble, respect others skill

  • lol im 13 and been playing classical for 6 yrs now this guy is amazing i hate when people obsess over playing a freaking 5 note rock song this guy is ahead of schedule and i also hate how electric guitar players think classical is easier than electric, classical is the most strict and complicated kindi of guitar to play and u gotta have a lot of class to play this stuff, man i give u props

  • totally agree.

classical guitar is the essence of every kind of guitars.

  • Well, you know, classical guitar in general is much more difficult to play than electric.

But the styles are so different that they cannot be compared. Both have beautiful and extremely complicated things. I enjoy both as much, and when played by an expert, both are just as intricate and complicated.

  • Oh yes! And i cud play that when i was 3. Maybe 2.

  • only someone who doesn't know music at all will say this.

  • LMAO

  • shite]#

  • most 13 year old kids are in front of video games or if they are not using the guitar hereo they are playing two notes power chord crap trying to be none sense rock player...this kid is way ahead of them......bravo....

  • @motreby i agree with u friend, but i dont understand why u told the phrase ''none sense rock player''... its like you claim rock isnt good music(rock's wonderful and clever music anyway),but, by reading ur first voted comment it feels like u disaprove rock. i dont know, (maybe i understood something wrong).... if i did fix me or if i didnt just tell me ur reason...

  • dont be a cock hes 13 ffs,

  • Get a grip, I only said he needed a towel. I didn't say he was shit.

  • Scary women on kettle drums!

  • you got that right

  • This kid has a true gift. There is hope for the next generation. To hear some more talented young musicians check out "Mozart Quartet No. 2 in D Major"

  • hahahhahaha your coment is so... funny... he was 13 years old in the recording, I had the privilege to see him live at that age playing danza del altiplano and he was incredible... don't be so critic...

  • I agree with you, he should be criticized, all musicians should be criticized!! young or old!!! but menuhin, russell, williams all of them recorded when they were young and yes they changed, I think is important to encourage them. gogoncea is not an amator guitarist who knows 2 or 3 pieces for guitar!!!! he is trying and he has alot of potential. and what I said about the interpretation of danza del altiplano is true, trust me I play that piece and I heard alot of interpretations and he was good

  • why does anyone who is performing music for others at the best of their ability need to be criticized. i promise you that they would not be playing at this level if they didn't criticize themselves as they were practicing. that's enough criticism. just enjoy the music!

  • I agree with that.... because Gogoncea is a good guitarist/musician, but I also had the "privilege" to listen bad guitarists on stage and yes I think sometime if they don't criticize themselves the "audience" should

  • we are all at different stages of musical development, and people should not be discouraged from performing because someone "better" may be in attendance. part of the process is learning to perform. i've seen top notch players such as pepe romero and jusian bream fall apart on stage, if they can get rattled, surely an amateur could. the only people that i feel should be criticized are those who profess to be great (and have huge egos) but then they consistantly don't deliver.

  • what I said about bad guitarists is true and I maintain the statement. I ve bean to concerts - payed ticket - and the "guitarists" - old ones - did not finish the pieces, stoped for a few seconds in the middle of the piece and things like that. hey if they can't play the dam piece why do they go on stage with it? I do not think Julian Bream or Pepe Romero did that thing to an audience, is embarrassing for the player and the audience payed money for the show. tell me is fair?

  • who re u ?the father in the shine ? he is a perfect ability dont become so jelous

  • uhh what kind of guitar technique do you know that i don't? economic right hand finger movements are ideal, and a steep angle on the guitar is perfectly common and acceptable (see marcin dylla, for instance, or galbraith for an extreme example)

  • He's so tensed up. Kid, chill and lossen up!

  • he looks so confident

  • Brilliant!!!!!!!!

  • lol get me

  • LOL!

  • Obviously, you're the prick.

  • talented boy...five stars and clapping

  • amazing...he's a talent for the guitar

  • he is cute too!!! ^ ^

  • we all gona die anyway.this kid wil

    l not

    bravo!!

  • lol extremely nice talent

but moves his head like some oldies film really funny

  • hes good but he just made me want to shoot myself out of bordem

  • I hope you have survived! But really this is rather a cruel attitude to one so young.

This is a very nice performance of a work by this distinguished composer Giuliani

  • dont let us stop you, you'd be doing us all a favour

  • yes, please do shoot yourself

  • boooring... i think not

  • I don't mind his guitar technique. If it's comfortable, its okay!

And also, I believe that guitar technique changes over time.

  • very good!

  • Wow holy shit, this kid has just motivated me to practice more.

  • kujonie Ty!

  • Marvellous is the kid.. Giuliani is just beauty and heartiness. Where is the 2nd and 3rd movement??!! by the way, for those interested in the concert, have you ever heard the version of Pepe Romero with the St. Martin of the Fields??

  • Almighty sound! This guitar concerto by Guiliani is my favorite ever since I heard it on the radio when I was a child. So far, the best on YT.

  • Absolutley flawless performance. Full of passion and emotion. Amazingly talented musician.

  • Bravo!!!

    Massimo Scattolin

  • oh my... thats ridiculously ood

  • ood?

  • I COULD do that but i dont want to ;~)lol

  • Excellent! Classical guitar is difficult.

That is the proper way to hold the guitar for classical style. It allows for correct hand postion. Imagine what he will sound like in ten years.

  • e roman?

  • why is his guitar positioned so high? He's like launching a missle off into space lol...

  • thats how you play a classical guitar....douche...

  • I play classical guitar. It is a very vertical position he has there. Much higher than I was taught.

  • yes, his left arm is a little too high; this can cause pain in the shoulder area. But it seems to work well for him! Great performance; i'd like to see him play today.

  • he likes it that way, think you can do better than him?

  • ce super canta pustiul acesta

  • Looking in a mirror, I guess?

  • Great sound! Bravo!

  • Fuck you.

People should be that godamned talented until ATLEAST their late teens...

    :'(

  • ¡¡¡¡De dónde ha salido esta máquina!!!!

  • una maquina de chaval

  • felicitari, foarte frumos

  • Senzational, Felicitari!!!!

  • muy bien casi tan bueno como yo

  • Oh, he's good.

  • Foarte frumos, felicitari...

  • arggggh!....why can`t i play like that?.

  • because you have not practiced hard enough :)

    hahaha .....

  • Amazing!!!!!!! 6 stars

  • bai sa sa dea dracu.....

    bravooo

    fantastic

  • braaaaaavooooooo

  • I enjoyed every note. Excellent! And I've heard many artists perform this concerto. Good job, young man!

  • great!!

  • This is a very great play of Giuliani Guitar Concerto.I guess the only one who is better is maybe Pape Romero , one of the Greatest Guitar Virtuoso of our time.

  • That is where you are wrong my friend. The arpegios are quite nicely done, he just does them a little fast, but i believe it is his choice. The Giuliani concerto is actually intended to be played in Alegretto. By the way if you haven't noticed , this kid is 13 years old, and until now he has won many many other fine contests before playing here. All the best

  • wow

  • nice mirc :O

  • Beautiful! I've never heard a guitar play to an orchestra before like that, and it's really effective - you have an amazing talent there Mirc!

  • Dang, Mirc, you rock! Well.. not rock.. but its a classic :D

Next time you`re in Zagreb, hook me up for some tickets? ;)

  • awesome

  • actually at this moment he is 16 years old, I am one of his friends, i heard him sing for many times, he is awesome!

  • Awesome. Well done. Giuliani would be proud.

  • nice!

  • omg eargasm

  • good one

  • The tone and articulation is just amazing, great job!

  • A magnificent child.

Congratulations for him, his parents and his professors.

I would like to hear and see him many years from now on.

  • wonderful playing Mircea, you should really contact Carlo Barone 19th century music specialist, conductor, guitarist and as far as i know the worlds leading specialist on the Bel Canto style in relation to the guitar. He holds courses in Paris. I have had a fair few lessons from him and they are always inspiring and very helpful.

  • tot asa pushtiulik... daca tot iei concursurile din Romania...sa-i spargi in anii viitori si prin Europa..ca sa fie treaba treaba... Studiaza tu si pt noi astia puturosii :) si spargene pe toti ;) BRAVO

  • Debería corregir su postura y tocaría mejor

  • su postura esta bien, no se nota?

  • Greatplaying. Good luck for your future.

  • BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE, incredible !

  • he was my classmate

  • what r u talking about, angle is fine. I play with the guitar almost that high and it works very well. I've played for 11 years and had some of the best teachers in the world.

  • Don't be jealous.

There are a lot of guitarists that play in different positions. It accommodates him better at that angle. Why would you criticize him over something so trivial?

  • I am really glad that there is quite talented guitarists in the world!!! Excellent!!!

  • Indeed excellent! Indeed amazig!

  • Excellent. Visually, however, the extreme angle of the guitar is jarring.
