I think this was at Mississippi Nights, some clips from this show are on the Philadelphia In Love DVD. I would have killed to be at this show and watch them play The Fez. FAVORITE BAND EVER.

As for live punk shows, the singer is usually inaudible and the band is typically playing too loud for anyone to hear anything.

I had to laugh because Duran Duran musically pretty much out performs the Dead Milkmen on every level. You have a band thats sold like 80million something records, tapes, CD's whatever to the Dead Milkmens 1 or 2mil? Like I said it made me laugh. Who they gonna make fun next? REM? Nirvana? Madonna?

I have seen many a dead Milkmen show, and the ranting is great, one night in 87 it was the Hooters, next time around it was Metallica, next time it was Donny Osmond hanging out with Metallica, next it was New Kids on the block, and Donny Osmond and Metallica. They were a fun novelty act, thats all there is to it, Its a treat to see them live, even if they considered themselves a joke.
