This was when rap was inspirational, and it didn't have to appear through movies, for you to know so...because it was everywhere. 2nd verse: "Everybody rise; man and women, boys and girls"

He also says "the early bird gets the worm" not "dirty bird gets the worm"... that's a common phrase in the US meaning don't procrastinate...

@thestevo1992 please son, you and your 111 thumbs up need to learn the difference between "old school" and the "golden era" of hip hop. hell, boy, the west coast rap movement (including coolio) didn't even begin until the golden age was already funking hard on the east coast for a few years, at which point the old school era was done. listen to KRSONE's 'outta here' gives a little chronology on how styles changed between these two periods.
