It's funny how some ppl use twisted facts as their proof. VC has never, under any circumstances, said he "didnt give 100% evey night". What he indeed said in that interview was that he could have WORKED OUT harder during the OFFSEASON in the FIRST FEW YEARS w/ the Raptors. John Thompson later acknowledged they had edited the interview to make it look like what you thought. Anyway, hearing ppl repeat "he admitted not giving his all" is hilarious.

"could have worked out harder during the offseason" and "not giving 100%" basically sounds like the same shit to me. VC was acting like a bitch in his last year with the raptors anyways. yes, he did ask to be traded, so it wasn't a big suprise when he acted like that. and he was playing so bad that you knew he didn't care anymore.

15.9 PPG is what he averaged. look at his stats (2004-05) if you don't believe me. VC was playing so bad that raptors fans were booing him at home games BEFORE he got traded. it's not like we boo him because we miss having him, we boo him because he was a whining bitch who literally gave up and stopped trying. he re-signed with the nets for $60-mil last year and now he's averaging 5less PPG than last year. if you're a nets fan RpRev, then you will start booing VC when he gives up on your team.

No, you boo him because you didn't get from him what was expected. And what you expected was not in his character from day one. He's the guy who, when the play is not called for him, wouldn't begrudge but just take a backseat. This year he's averaging 5 less PPG because he's taken 3~4 less shots per game, and he's taken fewer shots because RJ is the main guy this season. Ankle injury is another factor. His ppg after ASG is climbing back to around 24, plus nice disses and boards every game.

BTW, Antawn Jamison said back in 02or03, "When things aren't going well, Vince isn't the kind of guy who in the huddle says, 'Yo, this is what we have to do... I don't want him to come out and be a mean guy, cussing people out. That's not Vince." Now you see, VC's friend knows better than some fans do.

Well you missed a point here BlackJays. He admitted not working out hard off-court "in the first few years" i.e. before injuries hit him, not during his last days with the Raptors. That answer was totally irrelevant to the 0405 season. Of course you can argue that his production dropped, indicating he might have slacked. But to say he publicly admitted throwing his former team under the bus was groundless. Four years have passed and he never badmouthed Toronto and its people for once.

I wasn't missing the point, but i was just telling you what the toronto fans think of VC, obviously not all VC fans became haters after he was traded. He didn't badmouth Toronto at all, but the way he spent his last year with the Raptors is the perfect way to drive a Toronto sports fan nuts, lol. Believe me I live here. His first mistake was asking to be traded. If you play for the Raptors, Blue Jays, or any other Toronto team, we will usually boo former players when they come back to play.

Only a select few haven't been booed when they came back. Usually, the ones who play for a long time and are loyal to the fans and city will get a standing-o. VC didn't deserve a standing-o when he came back and he still doesn't deserve one in my opinion. Yes, he did put our franchise and city on the map in the b-ball world, but Toronto fans are justified in booing him since it ended the way it did. In three years, VC literally went from HERO to ZERO, lol.

He goes all the way to about where his hand is, his foot, all the way to the out of bounds line so he doesnt hit Eddy's chest when he turns in the air.
