USPS cannot stop Saturday mail delivery! Federal Law requires delivery 6 days a week. It can ONLY be stopped by an Act Of Congress to change the law.

The USPS was 2 Billion in the hole, but you forgot to mention that Federal law requires the Post Office to give Congress 10 Billion a year in shake down.
P.S. Even England wont take the trucks; most of them are over 25 years old.
