I thought the Statlers had done it very very well...and I thought that Dailey and Vincent had done it very very well...but put three of 'em in a regular old kitchen with an acoustic propped on Jimmy's knee..and it just blows the back door right off the house! Unbelievable. In a kitchen, foot up on a chair, next to the sink, dishwasher and refrigerator and it is still possible to get a sound like that. Very few singers can sound that good without alot of electronics.

The Statlers would open their concerts saying something like, " We're country, we've always been country, and we'll always be country". Fantastic! I remember when Jimmy joined the Statler Brother's. I was working as a Country Disc Jockey at WCMF-FM. I told some of the guys I worked with, " This guys good, he's going to do well with the Statlers and he did great. I like the this neat arrangment. Jimmy is just as good with Dailey and Vincent as he was with the Statlers. You guys are great. I really like the Bluegrass touch on the ending. Better than the original.
