Sorry you feel disappointed. In this machine, you put in the water first, then the flour, yeast, honey, salt, oil, seeds....press the button, and that's about it.

@savarios yeast is Last ontop of the flour away from the salt.

The texture varies. Generally it's a bit moister in the middle than store-bought bread and a bit harder round the edges and when toasted.

Is the bread made in the breadmaker, harder or just as soft as store-bought bread?
