Its a shame that he can't laugh about the experience. He comes off like such a jerk. He needs to adjust his attitude and understand peoples complaints are really directed at a poorly written and directed script. He was a little kid nobody truly blames him for the movie being bad. @RayMKV it's because most of the original star wars fan base was about 17 when the originals came out so they were well into their 40s when the new ones came out. So lucas made a kids film with a shit script insteads of keeping it to his fans. I was a kid when i watched them all so i think most of them are awesome. But Empire all the way though.

to be honest about jake llyod's acting. i think he's average for anakin. sure I agree that there's some cutsey performances. but the good performances are when anakin feels worried and sad when kisses his mother goodbye, and acts nervous in coruscant, and feels the force when podracing.

I think because of his young age, Jake is still very affected by other people's impression of his portrayal of Anakin - especially by the highly opinionated Star Wars fans. Very few people will ever get to say they were a part of such a special film franchise as Star Wars, let alone star in one. As Jake gets older, along with the young fans who grew up with the prequels, I bet he will better appreciate his experience of playing out the early years of the most badass villian in film history.

This kid was just a casualty of sub par writing. Star Wars just had awful dialogue despite some one liners . Great Actors like Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman had their most awkward and stiff moments in this movie. Christensen was fine until the prequels. How the sequel stars pulled it off, I don't know; maybe it's because they had more say in the very beginnings..
