Wow that's a new one(anti-clergy cracks). I was in support of Arizona sb-1070, but I also understand that a priest's duty is to tend to his people. As one who grew up in a large Catholic community most of the people who came to the parish for food and aid weren't Catholic. The priest who had food vouchers and supplies gave them to more protestants than Catholics. And yes a priest is just as obligated to help an illegal alien as he would a US citizen.
See we live in a civilized society which provides basic services (food, water, medical, ect) to all including illegal aliens. The only difference is once given food, water, and medical treatment illegals should be shipped back home.

If they were in Saks, Macy's or Walmart.. this video would make a huge scandal, but it is in an small store owned by immigrants. "White Police" abuse their power in small communities. I seen them pulling over black, Spanish, Asian and Indian drivers more frequently that white drivers, even though they haven't committed any real infraction. The Priest arrest is only one version of what they really want to cover up with thair lies.

The police are here to serve and protect; and when they abuse that role, the public has the right to be distrustful, even fearful. Father Manship is a good citizen, looking out for those who are oppressed. Haven't the Rodney King incident taught you anything?

In Manship's camera video, Officer Cari CALLS it a camera and asks why he is being filmed before making the arrest, and then writing the false report. Do not believe every police report you read simply because it was written by a police officer. That would be foolishly naive. You are young. You will learn.
