Thank you for that information. I must be honest, I don´t know the winning song but to me, Massimo's song was definitely a winning song. As I said before, Massimo's beautiful and masculine voice paired with a simple yet beautiful Italian ballad were the recipe for victory. I guess the other song must be superior. I'll have to check it up.

What a beaufitul and simple song. I wonder what song won that year but it must have been superior. However, Massimo´s renditions are always delightful. His voice, stage presence and beautiful songs are amazing and continue to be amazing even now.

alexgomez2 - to answer your question; the winner of the 1973 ESC held in Luxemburg was the host country with the singer Anne-Marie David with the song, Tu Te Reconnaitra.

Peronally I much prefer Massimo, but then I am biased...
