    Giant Ape of Africa

There must be something out there...

  • Also, oh my gosh, those golden monkeys are adorable!

  • I am bizarrely intrigued by the giant head with the horns and all the flags... where is that? What is it called? What does it represent?

  • I've got a little crush on Dr. Jeff Meldrum... I really admire him as a scientist AND a person.

  • @leananshae

But you do realize most of his findings are incorrect? Most, if not all, of his "Legend Meets Science" book was flawed, which is why he no longer cites it for reference.

  • @GilbertSyndrome If he did make some errors, that's fine. We all do, especially when we're in the midst of innovation and discovery. It's how advancements are made. If we only put into print what we were absolutely sure of, there'd be like 3 books on library shelves right now. And one of those would be the children's book, 'Love You Forever'. ; )

  • @leananshae

Very true, but i suppose there comes a time when you have to consider the severe lack of evidence thats out there and sort of accept the fact that these creatures (or more especially the North American Bigfoot) are merely fictional. While i admire some of Meldrums perseverence i do think he has come to a crossroads in his research where he'll either go to his grave wondering why he spent so much time on this subject (like Grover Krantz did) or he'll continue on.

  • sum ting wong in China....just kidding....
