As for my son, the juggler on AMTK, he knew he wouldn't win. If all ur props fall from the sky, even kid judges tend to notice that as a mistake, LOL. But if the snotty dancer chick turns left instead of rt, only her stage mom knows. And James lamented, "The lights! Mom, I throw up 3 balls, but there's twelve dots in my eyes when they come down. Can't tell what's real - what to catch and what's just balls of glare !"(We hadn't practiced for this problem - only small stages to this point. Oops!)

And no, all this gushing does NOT come because I'm a Twilight fan or whatever the 3 are called collectively. Haven't even seen them. It's Taylor HIMSELF -- AS himself - that makes such a lasting impression. Strength of CHARACTER always rises to the top, always is noticed. This Mom will be watching that you maintain that over the years. Don't let me down. What would I say to my sons then? (And hey, we want an autographed pic - from the AMTK time! Cutey!)

Remember the 15 yr old juggler, James, with the baby cheeks - who you nearly killed with that staff, showing him a flip? Do you remember him giving you a JUGGLING lesson? You impressed both of us so much he talked about you long afterwards, and before we ever saw you in the movies. (Make sure your Mom reads all my comments. She's done a fine job ! re. the Aggressive Hanger-on-ers: He'd never drop-kick Dave, but he'd snap into superhero karate mode to save Kristen if she were going to be hurt. I can envision wild Brazilian chicks flying through the air, hitting walls and thumping on the ground. Then, you can bet, he'd go right back and help them, and make them feel better. A Warrior/Protector, and the consummate Gentleman - and still so young. He showed this character to us at 12 already. He really stands out ! Blessed to have met him !

My 2 fav. parts - at 2:11 - That's EXACTLY what I would expect of TL. He DOES care! I love that he's still so young that he wouldn't know that giving a crying fan more & sweeter attention would make her cry more. But the best part, and Dave missed this, should have played it up - "and eventually, they just faint. " @ 2:38 "PROBLEM SOLVED." -- ROFL !!!! He's naturally funny, too! Exactly the type you'd want to be stuck in a basement with for hours. (See my earlier comment for this story.)

TL had time to give intelligent answers, but never enough time/rope to hang himself, or get lost, run out of steam in answer, sound nervous, or like a kid. Dave brought out the self-assured, sterling character of this fine young MAN. (As for wanting to drop-kick Dave... TL's mother would kill him for this. That's WHY he's such a fine man already. Great parenting.

Comment-ers below have complained about Dave interrupting TL. He ran a good interview. He is in charge, responsible for his show, but also for how TL comes off. DL has been at this forever. He KNOWS what those red ears and cheeks mean in an 18 yr old. TL sits still and possessed, but he's scared spitless. TL also knows DL is apt to show clips of this years later, but then, he won't be so KIND. Then he will be apt to POKE FUN at TL. D ran a fine interview, showcased TL very well.

@soulfullist Ahh, what you don't know is that he's been a "fine young man" of noteworthy character, from age 12! We were stuck in a basement w him for HOURS then, waiting to go on America's Most Talented Kids. Some kids were snobs, some catty/competitive/sly and snide - out for themselves and uppity. He stood out enough that my kid remarked on TL even on the way home, before we ever saw him in a movie! He was a "class act", and all were improved from having met him.

@soulfullist Taylor did karate & had a long wooden staff. Almost took my kid's HEAD OFF w it during a flip while giving us a fun demo. Most kids showed what they were going to do - just for fun & to relieve hrs of boredom. A few were pretending they were so "fabulous" that they'd better not show anyone - had "stage mother types, too". Later, my son, James (age 15 then) gave the smiling, muscular, gorgeous kid a JUGGLING lesson for fun! They spent much of the time together ! TL's COOL!
