  • hallo, wir haben gestern einen Mauersegler zum gesund pflegen gebracht bekommen; Ihre Homepage hilft uns sehr. Danke schön.

  • Thank you for posting...'ve always been curious if a swift can take off from grd, now proved.

  • amazing. they just take off....just likethat.

  • We are located in Frankfurt, Germany.

  • i would still assist a swift into flight by throwing it

  • please try instead to just have it sitting on your hand while you stand in a "statue of liberty" position. there is really no need at all to throw it.

from our experience (with over 5000 common swifts treated in the clinic), even though a swift might seem to be healthy or fully fledged (if you raised a young one by hand), often they might not "want" to take off. in this case just wait some more days and try it again.

  • Love this news ... you have treated over 5000 Swifts? .... where are you? Saw 4 apus apus today ... they keep me going... sure okuma didn't mean throw as in a baseball. Scottish Swift lover.

  • Wow. This is news to me. I'm dumbfounded. Thanks for the post

  • swift clinic... nice :)
