  • a true hero and inspiration. assata, i feel for you as i feel for my mamma or sister. i cry for you girl. you make me upset and sad about what they did to you and my sorrow turns to joy when i see your escape from slavery, and you give me the strength to escape to! if i die i die, but your example is worth dying for! xxxxxxx

  • Assata is a STRONG woman!

  • But TV has been subliminally implanting them. That sis why I don't watch TV new any more Listen to the radio. Is it know wonder why cops shoot first and not Just white women hold their purses but our own black people. We have been programed For so long to thing of our black men as brutal animals and our blk women cattle not a women who diserves carres and ,kind words, love afection, a husband a family someone to take care of her to. They have even created angry blk women stereotyp.

  • right not the black nationshave a serious problem . Many of ouy children are making stereotyped figures their rooe model. Black men not all are not standing with their black women and black women are loosing their sense of self. We are getting lost in the allsuins We have a limited spectrum on media We only have channels shwoing thins Like flavor of love. I hate that show debases us as black women and tha value our black men give us. If we were Jewish this show would never air.

  • Assata Shakur........

    Was she Tupac's mom?

  • No, a good friend of his mother, Afeni Shakur

  • I thought she was his grandmother.

  • no, godmother and friend. you should read jasmine guys 'afeni shakur: evolution of a revolutionary' or 'rebel for the hell of it' :)

  • If all our sistas were like this, we could take back our communities!

  • for real im Dead set on finding a woman like her. watch the deactivating the willielinch chip by pastor ray higgins in will give you some insight on why most of our women are not like assata

  • Yeah, I saw that!

    That speech was very powerful.

I also watched his (Ray Higgins) interview where he talked about switching religions. He said Christianity stole its teachings from Egypt (kemet).

  • Yes it did lol honestly its sad though

  • Where can i find that video?

  • its on youtube under dr. ray higgins deactivating the willie lynch chip. i really enjoyed that video

  • we are out there.. fighting the same struggle daily... but we need support from the brothers too. my best friend just left for Cuba this past year for med school and she has the same revolutionary spirit that I do. One thing we have in common is that the brothers we encounter are not always on the same page... at least not fully when it comes to relationships in this life, in this struggle.
