I can't help but think about martial arts when i hear current value. Over the time i've been listening to his stuff (around the last 13 years) he's been practising his particular art - a singular, specific art - only acceptable to a certain type of listener - but if you're into the most insistent forms of cybernetic d&b - he's a specialist. A lot of artists recycle samples they've already used, check out Audio for example. Second drop of Warehouse VIP and Cooh - Dead Rock (Audio Remix) have the exact same drums, and the open hi-hat he uses in those drums is seen in his other tunes as well.
