This is the music business so what was done is a harsh reality. Cover records will be made to make money. Sometimes it works. The Flamingoes signature song was actually from a musical. The song I Only Have Eyes for You was given the Doo Wop style and it is their signature song. What if they did not cover it?

I understand but this is the music business and artist try to make money. The Osmonds copied styles, the Flamingoes covered I Only Have Eyes For You, and even Elvis sang Gospel to sell music. You have a right not to like it though.
