Dang.....you make it look so easy. I have never even gotten to the part where you switch to the parrot. I got so sick of hearing that "ERR" noise that the snake makes when he dies.

I remember back when a friend of mine and I were kids, we both had this game and we were both stuck on Toxic Tower at the same time. We just couldn't seem to beat it. Then, I finally did... on HIS game. I was playing on his cartridge when I beat it, and could never do it again on mine. Games used to be way harder than they are nowdays.

I couldn't figure out how to get by the part where you have to jump really high with the snake. I didn't know about his super move until now. Other than the snake and the spider (who makes platforms to jump on), do any of the other animals have super moves?

i feel the hardest level is in gloomy grove stage where you have to use the spider a lot in vast open space and that particular was so long there was a stage hurdle about a third of the way through no where near the end and you usually got killed and it was far to start again.

Ok, I CAN NOT figure this level out. I get stuck at the part when you have to jump up on ledge and apparently do a super jump? It's about 30 seconds in on this video. I've tried holding down the B button, but that doesn't work...

Press and hold the A button then release. :P

Rattly hops when you're idle with him, but if you do a normal jump with B at the top of his idle hop, you can jump fairly high, which is what I did to save time, lol. :)

Hold A to do a super move with your Animal Buddy. In Rattly's case, it's a Super Jump.

I just beat this level this morning (Virtual Console), and I have to say that the snake part was by far the hardest (lost like 20 lives until I passed it). I didn't have as much trouble on the bird and spider parts. I found the DK coin myself by accident (by falling into that chasm from a mistimed jump from above), but I didn't know about those secret passages until I watched this video.

Oh. I see what you're saying. What I did was, at the height of Rattly's regular hopping, I jumped with B at the maximum height, just to save time! Normally, what you'd do it press and hold A, then release to do a Super Jump! You'll reach it no problem! ^_^

Yeah, I finally figured it out 10 minutes after I posted that. What I used to do was charging the super jump with A, then pressing B. It makes you jump higher than normal, but not as high as just pressing and releasing A.

After I got past this jump I quickly finished the level, hurray. Thanks for the advice anyway :)
