  • send me the programs plz?

  • what programs did you use please?

  • I used the DX9 SDK to talk to the joystick

The Mindsqualls C# API to talk to the NXT over bluetooth, and a very simple NXT program that translates the mindsqualls signals into motor commands. But keep in mind that lag is nasty and I wouldn't recommend this setup. I've seen somebody use a PS2 bluetooth controller to drive an NXT, and it looked like it's performance was WAY better.

  • yea the pspnx add onn/ sensor for nxt allows you to control a nxt with a ps2 controller

  • Actually, it's not a fake. Faking something like that would take WAY longer to orchestrate than actually doing it.

  • and WHY would it be fake?

  • ur fake

  • it is not real :) that is why the one who made this video isn't responsing your reply, anyway, he says it is Remote Control so how come there's a cable comes out of the Joystcik ? :) and the car doesn't turn as he move the joystick there's a delay of few seconds, but as the 2 guys below said, NICE :)

  • Sorry I haven't responded. (I got a lot of spam responses to this particular video so I started ignoring them.) Anyway, I assure you it's not a fake. The joystick talks to a C# program on the computer that sends a message via bluetooth to the NXT. Unfortunately, the NXT firmware injects a 100ms after every bluetooth communication. So the lag just keeps getting worse the longer you go.

  • the cable is to connect the joystick to the pc, which send instructions to the NXT. :)

    Ok? :)

  • kewl can u tell me how u did it and if u can do it with a different kind of remote i got a nxt too so can u hlp?

  • nice

  • nice
