I might be really critical about the directorial shortcomings but....this show is just as dear to me today...as it was years ago. I wish they'd have more of these Hindi shows rather then modern day Hinglish shows on Indian TV.

I dnt der r any serials of decency anymore...these days ppl r more worried.."Aakhir kyun Puja ki saas ne Shakkar vali chai nai pee" or whn typical bahu says "Hey Bhagwan, chawal aur dal to bangayi..abb sabji ka kya karun..Najaane Ramu kaka bazar se kyun nai aaye". Whn i laugh at this..My aunt says..(wd pity luk @ TV)Shayed fridge mein bhi kuch nai hoga..bechaari Diya

because sharda prasad ji comes to pick up byomkesh at 19h and then they go to the bhoot bungla, so it's normal that it becomes dark. and they arrive there at a time so that they can see the bhoot who comes in the evening only :)
