  • I ve seen capybaras in the Amazon.

I never saw one of them moving. They just stand still and chew.

  • @nikker1985 In a city near my hometown, you could (dont know if it continues like this today) find the capybara swimming and walking around the ponds. Although I live in Brazil, the city im talking about is Sete Lagoas and it is far far away from the Amazon.

  • Hi, this is Edna with Nutro. That was amazing! :-) I am learning so much about capybaras from your vids and blog.

    Thanks for sharing! :-D

  • This is just so wonderful - in every way!

  • Rats are very intelligent rodent's and naturally want to stay buoyant when in water. I used to bathe my pet Rat in the sink once a week and he enjoyed it. Noticed how not once did the rat's nose go underwater. I found this video enjoyable because your looking at 2 rodents swimming together! Not every often you can say that!

  • Migrating rats can swim up to half a mile and survive by treading water for 3 days.

Being in a pool of water, although unenjoyable, for a couple of seconds will probably not harm or kill your rats.

  • Some rats do like to swim. Mine used to swim in my tub. They like to be able to put their feet down on a surface... You have to start slowly and get them used to swimming...

  • Oh my! My rat's name is Bakersfield as well :)

  • Get a deep wide bowl so he can swim in that. Im surprised he was able to swim that far.
