tonsai... i fell in love with the place.went for 3-4 days and ended up staying one month until the rain send me home.. climbing, slacklining or just hanging out,it's an amazing place with amazing people.. keep it clean and keep it simple :)
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to live on Railay for nearly a year... Been back at least once year since and all I do when I think of Railay and Ton Sai is smile :)
If you do go please respect the place and leave it like I first found it PARADISE on Earth
Your last comment, 'Same, same but different." its a verse used by the Cambodians about the time when Polpot massacred his own kind. Many died. Its not Thai at all and it doesnt have a good history to it.Did you know....? Other then that I forgot to add that its a wonderful video to my comment.Keep it up.Will visit Railay end august.
Same same, but different is a saying used all over Thailand and South East Asia to mean similar. Maybe Cambodians have used it in reference to Polpot, but Thai's use in reference to everything with no negative connotations. It's an easy way to describe things.
