We must wake-up and realize that KILLING OTHERS, FORCING OTHERS is a NECESSARY EVIL. Its a waste of time that humans require this. Heroism done in civilian endeavors like curing diseases and discovering our place in the universe are even more important than military heroics.
Unfortunately so long as there are "bad people" in the world it is a necessary evil. And yes, those who cure the social ills (disease, hunger, etc.) of the world are very much heroes as well. But what separates men and women who fight and die in war from our civilian heroes is the utter horror of combat, and the fact that without them those people who cure the diseases, feed the hungry and help society wouldn't have a society to accomplish such great things in the first place.
You are trying to make a distinction and a false "pyramid of ego"; if it were not for doctors making life possible there wouldn't be any Soldiers; without civilians no economy to have kids etc. and you forget that the Citizen-Soldier does BOTH functions, lastly the horrors of combat are not superior to the horrors of car crashes and house fires and murders etc.

Do respect the song, most who cast doubt on the plight of soldiers are those who sit in their homes with dead-end jobs spewing vomit called hate at soldiers who do nothing but preserve your sanctity. They ask for nothing and carry on with their duty with mindless scum sat safe only due to the guys they are bad-mouthing. When you realise these men and women are heroes you will find inner peace instead of needing to curse like cowards sat faceless behind a montitor.

False. Those living civilian lives are just as heroic as military men. This militaristic crap that those who die in greater numbers along our roads raising families are less heroes has to stop. Life is not a zero sum game where one is a hero and the other scum; both roles are important.

I assume youre talking about police? I agree both roles are important. However, without military men and women, we wouldnt be where we are. On the other hand, I have no use for the police. Police are a cleanup crew, and revenue generators. In this day and age, law abiding civilians have the ability to defend themselves. The police have no duty to protect you. reference Warren VS D.C. It states....

i wouldn't say heroic but should be cared for more than they do. atleast the hard working civilians. but as a great philosopher said "If you want peace prepare for war." thats why civilians aren't heroes as soldiers who die and fight for peace are

We must wake-up and realize that KILLING OTHERS, FORCING OTHERS is a NECESSARY EVIL. Its a waste of time that humans require this. Heroism done in civilian endeavors like curing diseases and discovering our place in the universe are even more important than military heroics.

Unfortunately so long as there are "bad people" in the world it is a necessary evil. And yes, those who cure the social ills (disease, hunger, etc.) of the world are very much heroes as well. But what separates men and women who fight and die in war from our civilian heroes is the utter horror of combat, and the fact that without them those people who cure the diseases, feed the hungry and help society wouldn't have a society to accomplish such great things in the first place.

You are trying to make a distinction and a false "pyramid of ego"; if it were not for doctors making life possible there wouldn't be any Soldiers; without civilians no economy to have kids etc. and you forget that the Citizen-Soldier does BOTH functions, lastly the horrors of combat are not superior to the horrors of car crashes and house fires and murders etc.

i dont like her voice, it sounds like she has down syndrome at times lol..........
and the songs tempo was wayyy too fast.
They should have put higher auctive singer in because its just too bassy for this song.
and also at 3:23, why the fuk did they ruin the song by going to a minor chord????
seriously listen to it, they ruined the build up and the rest of the song.

It's true about the minor chord, it sounds horrible! Sad that they couldn't end the song more gracefully.
About her voice: I think she uses way too much vibrato, which ruins the song.

I totally agree. That build up should finish triumphantly. It's meant to be heroic, not the end of the intro music to Star Wars...
And I don't like her voice on this either. She has a great quality to her voice and her technique is really good but I think a sweeter sound would have worked better for the song.

Those brave men who served knew why they served and what they were fighting for. i disagree. the world does not have to fight. nazis were an incredible military power, who's main objective was to conquer the world, and the allies had to put a stop to it, they didn't want to, they had to, and thats what makes losing young men who volunteered to fight so sad.
