Yes, the press are mostly scumbags, but swearing like this does you no good. It just shows you up to be out of control and unprofessional. Joe Kinnear could have got his point across much better if he'd stayed in control.

Joe Kinnear is a legend. The press are so full of s**t, they twist everything for thier own benefit. More managers shpuld be like Joe and speak thier mind without the likes of the BBC complaining about "foul langauge". what i dont get is why newcastle fans are so desperate for keegan to be manager. i mean the guy has been a failure as a manager, never won anything of note as a manager and walks away when the going gets tough.
also newcastle havent won anything for donkeys so how are they a big club? just because they bottled the league in 1996?
the truth is newcastle fans only want one of their own as manager even if he is a complete failure and bottler.

im a life long toon fan and i dont mind people sticking up for themselves. I read the article which was written and it was badly edited (negativly edited). At least he has some minnimals, when people lie about his first day in the job.

Joe Kinnear was (and perhaps still is given a chance) a great manager trying to do a tough job. The mirror reporter is an ass who functions as a professional hatchet man for a rag. He was trying to put the boot in for cheap headlines. Has that journalist any self respect.

They've tried to undermine him from the day he took charge at Newcastle with constant negative, misleading and downright slanderous press.
They now think they've got a scoop with his comments but i think most of us would lose it too in the face of gross intrusions.
