  • i love this fuckin' cigarettes \m/

  • Don Draper must have created this commercial.

  • I got a comment the other day while smoking...Those things will kill you...I said not as fast as im gonna kill you... let the smokers smoke, and the non smokers get fat or whatever they do. wish it was the good ole days where nobody gives a shit. smoking kills, cars kill, overloading that plug behind your tv kills, grease kills, and staring at your damn computer kills, anything could kill you.

  • mmmmmmmmmmh how I love this cigarette! even it it kills me I,ll always enjoy the taste.

  • LuckyStrike! now your Dead!...its the smoke not the flavor to die for.

  • Its sounds like they saying: ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ ♪"Fuckin filters"♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ ♪ 0:29

  • LET SMOKERS SMOKE NON SMOKERS CAN JUST NOT SMOKE "ITS THAT SIMPLE PEOPLE!! FAT PEOPLE CAN BE FAT AND NON FAT CAN CHOOSE TO BE FAT OR NOT AGAIN "ITS THAT SIMPLE!!!

  • @lovedrugsalotlikedam Ever heard of passive smokers? Thought so.

  • @Mursilia Ever heard of a douche wasting my time? Thought so.

  • Can anyone provide more information on this advert? I am about to create an alternate soundtrack for it and I could do with sourcing a better quality version.

  • Oh yeah... 'Simple answer, next!'

herpa derpa tum teedily tum da derpa derper derp a doo.

  • @famerdwight

Except burgers, all food cooked thoroughly and all burnt food (burnt carbon, basically), and especially processed food have been found to cause stomach cancer, colon cancer, etc. And burgers and red meat lead to obesity, overweight. Fat is deposited in the arteries, causing plaque. Leading to heart attacks, stroke, bleeding in the brain. Obesity and heart problems are the #1 killer, greatly overshadowing deaths from cigarette smoking. You are a fucking dipshit.

  • OMG I love those labels xD

  • I want to smoke so bad right now I would sell pussy!

  • II'm definitely taking up smoking now;)

  • my favorite. very nice logo of LS. now i not smoking and not recomend to all.

  • I miss Lucky Strike filters :(

  • We bitch about smokers, however we dont bitch at fat people eating cheese burgers... wtf

  • @discosuitDan Thank you good to see someone with sense

  • @discosuitDan Cigarettes have zero redeeming value. They give the body nothing positive. They also cause second hand smoke which can harm those around you. Cheese burgers do have nutritional value. They may have certain harmful properties such as high in fat but they are not completely bad. They have protein for example. Also, cheese burgers do not have toxic effects on those in the immediate area. Simple answer, next!

  • @discosuitDan if they'd spit burgers in my face i'd bitch 'bout them don't worry

  • @discosuitDan Yea, cheeseburguers don't get smoke on me fucking face. I don't care if the person smoke, if he wants to kill himself, go ahead. But don't come throwing smoke on my fucking face.

  • @discosuitDan yup its just as bad if not worse!!

  • @discosuitDan yeah I agree with you,

  • @discosuitDan Yeah we do?

  • The only true Luckies are non filtered. They're the best!

  • My grandfather smoked unfiltered LS and died at 60ish, but it wasn't because of cigs

  • FAIL AT 0:02!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD

  • I want to buy the world a pack of Lucky Strikes instead of a Coke.

  • This spot probably was from the end of the 1950's or very early 1960's, when Lucky Strike introduced their filter-tip version.

This spot may have been on "The Jack Benny Program", since Lucky Strikes sponsored Jack on radio and then TV for about 20 years. I believe Benny himself cancelled the sponsorship in the wake of the Surgeon General's 1964 report on smoking and health.

  • hats taste great!

  • L.S. / M.F.T.!!

  • ah i love these commercials

  • I don't smoke a lot but LS definetly is the best. I live in Europe(the netherlands) and they only sell (LS) cigarettes with filters. Does anyone know where I can buy them without filters?

    And do they taste better?

  • @lennylink ONLY THE WEAK SMOKE. You have no respect for your own life. What a disgusting, dirty habit!

  • @robertjohnson487 I bet you quit smoking a couple of weeks ago.

    Amirite?

But you are right, smoking is shit

  • @robertjohnson487 from the minute your born you start dying. you have plenty of time to be dead enjoy life.

  • @lennylink I live in the US and I only see places sell them without filters. You would probably have to buy them online or have someone in the US send you a carton. I haven't tried filtered LS so I don't know the difference but the filter less are definitely the best cigarettes I have tried.

  • L.S.M.F.T = Less Smoking Means Finer Things--my dad used to say.

  • He must not have lliked those Luckies all that much...otherwise, he'd have eaten his hat rather than just take one bite out of it.

  • LMAO !!!! , LOL , etc.... , wow , LS was what my Dad used to smoke , and the very first cigarette I stole from him and smoked was LS filter , I was about 12-13 then !!! funny as hell add !!! cool !!!

  • NOW EAT YOUR HAT!!!!!! lol

  • Bear Bryant called from the grave; he wants his hat back.

  • FRANCO WAS A AFASCIST DICTATOR

  • even the old ciggy pack of Lucky Strike looks dam nice

  • @snoopydoopy12 yeah, LS dabest

  • I never understood why they bothered putting filters on dear old Lucky Strikes. All the old timers I worked with would actually break the filters off before smoking! They might as well have been sucking on the muffler of a diesel engine!

  • filtered luckies are worthless.

  • It was a craze when they first started doin' it.

  • Does anyone know if they still make lucky strike filters I can't find them anywhere

  • I haven't seen them either.

  • i used to smoke them and i had the same problem, they rarely have them out and you gotta ask for them.

  • Best damn cigarette EVER!

  • You can get them at the airport duty free (Last time I were in Chicago, They had them at O'hare). They come in 10-packs. Your flight has to be international though, otherwise they won't sell you anything.

  • everywhere in europe

  • finest menthol cigarette what!????

    the world has ever seen???

people in the past were so cheesy and gay

  • Get a job

  • It is indeed reassuring to learn that even way back at mid-20th Century the tobacco industry was making a sincere effort to be green.

  • !!! Weird. I've never seen cigarette commercials before.

  • Yeah, they are pretty interesting. I grew up with the Marlboro Man ads on TV.

  • New Zealand has Lucky filters. Only cigarettes I smoke. Mmm...

  • LS Green...aka The Grim Reaper

  • luckies are so good but the joints are better!

  • in romania you cand find it

  • where can you find luckies these days?

  • overall :P!

  • deli's, convenient stores, it's a candy now ahahahahahaha they taste like shit

  • Fuck are you talkin about man?! Luckies are the best cigarettes!!!

  • Nowadays, we get a one page Newport ad in Playboy.

  • best smokes money can buy!

  • He didn't eat the hat! So what does that mean!

  • wow... these commercials just get dumber and dumber. no wonder the population of teenagers, and adults of smoking are getting lower and lower each year. I know this is an old one, but.. there are not really that many ads as there used to be. quit smoking or don't start. it's horrible, and it makes me feel like i am gonna faint every time i am around smoker losers. not to offend anyone. just saying, cigarettes stink. i suggest if you don't want infazeema(Cancer), you don't start.

  • It's ok you don't like cigarettes, man, but that doesn't mean you have to insult smokers. Or have you seen that we, the smokers, offend non-smokers?

  • You cant even spell... its emphysema, not "infazeema", besides its not cancer, its is an pulmonary disease.

  • I wish the LS Green commercial was there as well

  • another case of people trying to tell us .What we can do .or not do .

  • LSMFT

    Lucky Strike Mutha Fuckin Tizzight

  • i like them with no filters but then again ive never even seen them with filters.

  • They love those over in Japan. They even have the L.S. Green! (Menthol) which I have never seen in the states...so ironic how Japanese people usually act more American than Americans. I smoked the shit out of L.S. Green when I was stationed over there.

  • THIS SUCKS!

  • they always had cigarette commericals, i think they took them off the air in 1977. people didnt bitch about smoking then, like they do today, my grandpa smoked since he was 13, he died at age 96 1 packs a day. the cigarettes back then were actually harmless, its the tabacco thats in them today thats probably tainted so much by crop dusting, you dont know if your smoking tabacco or DDT

  • I totally agree with you about people bitching about smoking. I hate that people nowadays treat you like a serial killer just because you smoke, man.

  • True man, true. They're called douchebags.

  • @34D2234 cigarettes back then were harmless?

inhaling fine particles only became bad in the last thity years?

im not bitching. i smoke and laughed when i read this.

  • @34D2234 WRONG! Another fool has spoken. Even chewing tobacco has been proven to cause oral cancer. THE POISON IS THE TOBACCO ITSELF

  • @34D2234 It's not about the tabacco. It is because of the eating and life style habits. Nowadays people are eating junk, unhealthy food, have no physical activities so there immunity is weak. Not like your grandpa's was...

  • @34D2234 It was in 1971 that cigarette commercials vanished from American television and radio.

  • @34D2234 very un thought out statement......

  • @34D2234 my brother smoked and he died at 51. : > (

  • @Elin48 From what?

  • @Paelignus from a lung disease he acquired after smoking for 30+ years.

  • @34D2234 Cigarettes were never harmless but they weren't as addictive as the companies make them today. Inhaling smoke is never a good thing.

  • @34D2234

actually DDT was around, and removed, during the time your grandfather was smoking. Smoke inhalation actually shuts down your lungs. The 'facts' that anti-smoking lobbyists say are that 1 in 2 people die from long-term smoking (as in the other person dies naturally; not lives forever :P) so your grandfather was one of the lucky ones. I am not saying that smoking is good for you, but how many of you actually know the reports that say smoking is bad? We just listen to what the TV says.

  • @34D2234 it's the fuckin liberals they are turning america communist.

  • @34D2234 plus the shit they use to make cigarettes "fire safe" now cant be body safe.

  • @34D2234 Your grandad was a tough man! Mine died at 52.. smoked all his life.

  • @34D2234

50 percent of modern cigarettes are filler, the 50 percent tobacco.

  • @34D2234 Wow so much ignorance

  • @jvdoles In retrospect, yes, smokers in the the 50s were indeed very ignorant. Makes you wonder, however, how ignorant -- in this age of supposed supreme-and-growing enlightenment -- we'll look to future generations. I mean, when the next ice age hits, our progeny, and our progeny's progeny, and our progeny's progeny's progeny (etc.) will look back and say: Those people drove around in two-seat death traps, used mercury-based lightbulbs, only flushed the toilet when they took a dump,

  • @JoltinDjango are u telling me flushing the toilet causes some environmental disorder?

  • Because back then they didn't realise that they were so bad for you, they started of as medicine so people figured that they weren't bad for you. Oh and they did junk them so stop complaining. Why don't you lighten up and have a cigarette? :L

  • No way not evan having a ciggarette. I dont smoke.

  • it was a joke you know

  • Lucky Strike packs used chrominum and copper on their labels before 1942; when World War II forced American Tobacco to cease using them so those ingredients could be channeled into the war effort, George Washington Hill, AT's president, hit on the idea of using a "patriotic slogan" to sell the new red and white packs- "Lucky Strike Green Has Gone To War!" {so here's the smart new uniform for fine tobacco}...

  • shake hands with LS green, shake hands with LS green

  • L.S./M.F.T

    lets screw my fingers tired

  • jajaja im loved lucky strike XD

  • L.S./M.F.T. - Lucky strike means fine tobacco

  • LS-LS-MFT...anyone got a light?

  • lol

  • aah, good old time

  • In 1938 The Lucky Strike Packs were also colored green because I have one pack. I was told by an old -timer that the packs were colored green because of World War 2 soldiers were supplied with these cigarettes overseas. This was due to the importance of camouflage. Would anyone know what years these late 1930's until the 1940's packs of Lucky Strikes were produced ? I also know that in 1943 there were steel pennies put into the bottom of the packs too in that year as change for buying

  • Lucky Strikes were always in green packs until the U.S. became involved heavily in the war (WW II). They stopped making the packs green because the green colorant was needed for military purposes. American Tobacco promoted the new white packs with the slogan "Lucky Strike has gone to war!"

  • The green coloring was made with copper, and copper was needed for the war effort. You're correct! Give the man a cigarette. :)

  • smoke tobacco like a MAN, bitch.

  • filter?? fuck the filter i want the cancer

  • Why is the hat riped???

  • Because the guy said "If you show me a filtered tobacco that gives the same great taste, I'll eat my hat."

  • wtf?

  • I think that hat was stolen from Bear Bryant. What was that guy shouting to the matador? Something about shoving that hat up his .... I couldn't make out the rest.

  • This was first seen around 1965....

  • Lucky Strike menthol didnt really go over too well and was take off the market not long afterwards,i think they revived it for a short time in the late 1970s.

  • I would have loved to hear about LS green

  • why did you cut it off at LS Green?
