Do you use a mouse or a trackball? Great work on the weapons! Notice Billy's Maverick 88 "Masterkey." Actually, the Knight Masterkey (designed to the fit on the M-4) existed circa 1986-87 so it's unusual that Billy would have a full-length Maverick 88 mounted on an M-16. Plus, it would need an adjustable stock for the Masterkey to be used properly. The prop guys probably thought bigger = cooler.

@theodorbrinch Layers are made so certain parts can move. The arms are in different layers because they move differently compared to the rest of the body. I think you save the Photoshop file into a certain type of file and then export it onto the animating program they are using which is not Flash.

@jackmacisback Most artist sketch typically using a lighter color before finalizing in darker bolder lines. This way you don't confuse yourself if you want to remove/replace/redraw something. It's nothing special just practicality reasons.
