That's a pretty cheap argument. Anyone who knows anything about the Roth era knows that Roth could sing fine, depending on his sobriety and seriousness - but there were also shows when he was blatantly fucked up and just partying with the crowd.

As for the kicks, etc... Dave is a martial arts expert. Make no mistake, he can do it drunk or sober. He hits the notes and, though he plays with the melodies a LOT, his voice sounds better than it has in years.
