Yeah, it seemed like Bay only cared about getting the most money out of the product rather than creating a good movie. If you create a good movie, it will remembered for years. Revenge of the fallen will only be remembered for the month it was in theatres.

I've only just started getting into transformers, I watched the animated series and a couple of episodes of G1 and enjoyed it but I couldn't stand the second movie the first was ok but the second one sucked. Also awesome transformers toy collection.

I get your point, Im a huge G1 fan, but its just a money making thing and we just have to get past it and be open to a new view of the transformers. There were many things I would have done differently in the movie.

Thank you so much for this rant, because people who loved this piece of crap don't get it. They don't know the source material like the rest of us and me being a black man I was offended by the stereo types and people actually laughed made me pissed. Unfortunately It will make a lot of money because America is in the dumbed down phase right now.

Soundwave's voice definitely needed the old effect on it, but at least it was Frank Welker. I mean, he also was Dr Claw. Heh.

you nailed it this is without a doubt one of the worst movies I've seen this summer. Soundwave's voice sounded like freaking Dr. Claw's from Inspector Gadget and those twins are about 12x worse than jar jar binks. I grow up in the 90s watching Beast Wars so I don't know that much about G1 transformers. the visuals were great but that credit goes to ILM and not to MB1. We will always have the summer of 08 as the greatest for movies minus sex in the city and love guru. Steven has finally lost it

I didnt hate the film completely because of the transformers. Megatron and Starscream's interactions and Optimus taking them on in the woods was great and letting Optimus be the true hero was great. Including the Matrix of Leadership, which is supposed to be in Optimus, only for it to be destroyed was ridiculous. Id love to write the third film and bring it back cuz even with the flaws of the first film and now this one, I still have faith that a good film can be made...by me...or one of us

I have to say more...Devastator was a wasted character taking on the transforming twin stereotypes + simmons and that fucin useless college kid. Optimus took me back to 85 and I stayed in the theater basically like holding a gun to Bay's head and if Prime didn't come back I woulda pulld the trigger. The banter between Sam and his parents, which was nice in 1 was over the top in this one And why fix bumblebees voice just to mysteriously shut it off again? I still gotta say more

I was waiting for your video on this movie and I agree, though i didn't hate it like Wolverine. I took my young nephews to see it 4,9 and I thought the excessive swearing was tacky. And while the Transformers roles were reduced, even some humans like Tyrese and Duhmel had reduced roles as well. Basically Shia and Megan got real big in between films so the film is about them. Sorry to Shia and Megan but the star of Transformers should be that Computer generated image named Optimus Prime

Really? I grew up watching G1 Transformers as a kid and I loved it. Yeah there were a few things that bugged me about the film (Ex. Soundwave's voice, Jolt and Bonecrusher showing up out of nowhere, Devastator's balls and him being killed off so easily, individual Constructicons running around after Devastator had been formed, ect.) but not enough for me to hate the film. At times it did seem like the movie was rushed. I dunno. Maybe I'm just one those very rare more open-minded G1 fans. :/
